Origin and Nature

The Eight Regions were originally part of the Nine Heavens Ten Earths, but were later set apart as Small Worlds forged by ancient great powers and modeled after the Upper Realm. 3 31

Its deeper purpose was concealed from most inhabitants. The realm was created according to the model of a small Immortal Domain and could serve as a refuge preserving bloodline seeds should the Nine Heavens Ten Earths and Immortal Domain fall. After the deaths of ancient heroes and protectors, it became the Eight Regions Prison. 470 490

The prison held Dark Immortal Kings and Dark True Immortals. Periodic harvesting of their strength was originally intended to maintain the seals, but later generations twisted the practice into the Eight Regions Cataclysm, harvesting Venerable Realm inhabitants as “great medicine.” 455 496 633

Despite its former accessibility to Upper Realm factions, the Eight Regions are considered a Forbidden Ground beyond the interference of even Immortal Domain Kings. 455

Geography and Structure

• The Eight Regions are divided by seas but exist within the same plane and spacetime. 359

Yan Huang Empire

The Yan Huang Empire governs the unified Eight Regions under Human Emperor Shi Yi. Its rule is founded on the principle: “Speak human words, do human deeds, honor Human Law.” 514
