The Rose Witch led everyone into the entrance to the Wizard Secret Realm she had established—the Spider Paradise.
The wizards from the tour group visiting the Rose Building looked around and discovered that this was an area covered in spider silk. Spiderwebs were everywhere, and the entire space was made up of webs suspended in midair. Many spiders lived on these webs, spinning silk and weaving nets as if perfecting them.
Below the spiderwebs was a vast sea. A water-powered spinning wheel stood in the sea, turning slowly, with spiders crawling all over its various components.
A massive spider suddenly dropped from the enormous web above the Rose Witch's head. This spider was composed entirely of energy and some thin, threadlike substance. It was huge, resembling a yarn-ball spider. It seemed extremely enraged at the Rose Witch, and it raised a leg to hack at her.
Before it could get close, Wizard Joshua, who stood beside the Rose Witch with a black spellbook in his hands and gold-rimmed spectacles on his face, waved once. The yarn-ball spider was instantly split in two.
The Rose Witch calmly said, "Please, follow me."
Locke walked past the thread-ball spider and looked down at it, suddenly realizing something.
"The thread-ball spiders are products of the magic-pressure dissipation caused by the Rose Witch's Great Magic. This enormous Spider Paradise seems to produce a level of dissipation far higher than that of an ordinary wizard's Great Magic every moment. Did something go wrong during the Star-Forging?"
"So Rose found another path. She transformed her Great Magic into a First-Ring Wizard Secret Realm, borrowing the countless First-Ring Wizards along the Heaven River Coast to reduce the magic-pressure dissipation of the Golden Triangle's foremost index, her Great Magic. That really is an ingenious idea. She actually came up
