Background / History

Naruto was born during the Nine-Tails’ attack on Konohagakure. Kushina’s remaining chakra was sealed into him, allowing her to remain connected to him, while Ye Wuyue intervened to protect the infant from the Nine-Tails. Kushina later died from the incident, but Minato survived and became the Nine-Tails’ jinchūriki. 1 2 5

Unlike the original timeline described by the story, Naruto grows up openly loved in Konoha as the Fourth Hokage’s son. At age six, Minato personally accompanies him to the Ninja Academy, where Naruto introduces himself to Uchiha Sasuke—then under Yoru no Tsuki’s control. 5 12
