| Thirty-three Heavens | A vast celestial expanse developed by the Primordial Divine Race during the Archaic Era 112 | Former Divine Race base; later occupied by the Demon Clan. |

| Four Seas and Dragon Abyss | The Four Seas contain Innate Water Eyes, while Dragon Abyss suppresses their imbalance 160 | Their stability prevents the Water Element from collapsing and returning all beings to the void. |
| Grotto-heavens and blessed lands | Innate or cultivator-created inner worlds that remain dependent on the Primordial World 152 | Serve as cultivation domains, inheritances, and territorial foundations for powerful beings. |
- Pangu severed the Primordial Great World and its surrounding Chaos from the broader Chaos Sea, isolating it from the Myriad Heavens and worlds beyond. 62
- A world membrane stands at its boundary and shields it from the erosion of Chaos. 178
- As the world expands, its traces become more visible across the ages; when the Six Saints attain Dao Fruition, outside powers may recognize its value. 240
- The Primordial Great World possesses immense innate destiny, making it coveted even by entities capable of transcending the River of Time. 240
Heavenly Dao
- The Heavenly Dao maintains the order and rules of the Primordial Great World; it was fully perfected after Daoist Hongjun merged with it. 19
- In the world's earliest era, Innate Ancient Gods divided and controlled portions of Heaven-and-Earth authority. Following their destruction in the Dragon-Han Crimson Bright Tribulation, that authority was reclaimed by the Heavenly Dao. 19
- The Heavenly Dao acts through instinct and rules rather than morality; it responds favorably to paths that benefit the world's development. 74
- Its operation contains “forty-nine variations, with one escaping,” allowing variables that cannot be fully contained by fate or calculation. 19
- Daoist Hongjun recognizes one such variable as beneficial to the Primordial Great World and chooses not to erase it. 62
Water Element Cycle
Zhou Yuan's Water Element Cycle is a proposed world-scale circulation system intended to regulate the Primordial World's pure and turbid qi, support its continued growth, and delay the end of the Dharma. 74
| Stage | Process |
|---|---|
| Heavenly River | Impurities from the Nine Heavens' pure qi condense into Nine Heavens Weak Water, flow into the Heavenly River, and mingle with starlight to form Three Lights Divine Water. 74 |
| Land and Four Seas | Water descends onto the Primordial Great Land and Four Seas, becoming True Water of Heaven One; rivers ultimately return to the seas through the land-sea cycle. 74 |
| Earth veins | Part of the True Water of Heaven One nourishes earth veins, transforms turbid qi into pure qi, and sends it back to the Nine Heavens. 74 |
| Sea of Blood | Water carrying universal impurities enters the Sea of Blood, described as the Primordial World's “garbage dump.” 74 |
| Netherworld | Water combining with Earth Fiend Qi becomes Primordial Heavy Water, descends into the Netherworld, and merges with River of Forgetfulness Water to nourish and expand that realm. 74 |
- The system is based on the five major Water Elements and is meant to establish a new metabolism for the world. 74
- Zhou Yuan considers the framework incomplete, particularly because processing the Sea of Blood's accumulated negative impurities remains difficult. 74
- The Water Element's authority is a major source of conflict among the Dragon Clan, Witch Clan, Demon Clan, Purple Mansion Continent, and other great powers. 166 178

History
World Creation and the Archaic Era
Pangu created Heaven and Earth, causing clear qi to rise as Heaven and turbid qi to descend as Earth. The earliest active beings included the Fierce Beast Clan, surviving Chaos entities, and later the scaled, beast, flying-bird, and myriad races. 112 121
The Three Sovereigns—Heavenly Emperor, Earthly Emperor, and Human Emperor—once established the Primordial Heavenly Court and attempted to use the fortune of the Three Origins to reverse the Pangu Dharma Appearance and attain Primordial Chaos. Their attempt failed, and the Primordial Divine Race later fragmented. 22
Dragon-Han Crimson Bright Tribulation
The Dragon-Han Crimson Bright Tribulation devastated the world's early ruling powers. Numerous Innate Ancient Gods perished, and the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin clans declined under immense karmic debt. 19 208
After the tribulation, Daoist Hongjun's Mystic Gate Immortal Path began to challenge the dominance of the Turbid Fiend God-Demon Path. 28
Rise of the New Era
The Primordial Divine Race, Phoenix Perch Mountain lineage, Myriad Races Alliance, Witch Clan, Demon Clan, and surviving Three Clans competed for territory, fortune, and the right to shape the world's future. 22 29 56
The founding of the Mystic Gate's Five Immortal Dao Lineages occurred ahead of its expected time when the Ghost Immortal Dao was revealed before the Six Paths of Reincarnation had been established. This altered the relationship between past, present, and future destiny. 154
Starlight Enlightenment and New Races
The Star Enlightenment, Wisdom Star Sea plan used starlight to awaken intelligence in plants, stones, and other previously inanimate entities. Over twenty thousand years, numerous such beings began seeking immortality and the Dao. 197 199 209
These awakened beings were later considered as a possible foundation for a new race capable of contesting the destiny held by the Witch and Demon Clans. 203 234
The Mystic Gate Ancestral Court ultimately chose to create the Human Race, intending for it to contend for the Human Path and gather the destiny of Heaven and Earth. 234 235
Great Tribulations
- Great Tribulations arise as cultivators and factions struggle for survival, resources, authority, karma, and destiny. Small tribulations accumulate into larger ones until they become world-shaking calamities. 180
- Such calamities restore balance by causing large-scale death and returning energy to Heaven and Earth. 181
- The Dragon-Han Crimson Bright Tribulation and later conflicts surrounding Kunlun, the Mystic Gate, and the Water Element all reshape the world's political order. 19 156 231
- The Witch and Demon Clans eventually form an alliance to challenge the Mystic Gate Ancestral Court's control over fortune and authority. 232
