The Blood Soul Demon Lord was not a cultivator who rose through ordinary practice, but a Great Demon naturally nurtured by the Netherworld Blood Sea. That secret realm accumulated the blood, death, malice, evil thoughts, and Seven Emotions and Six Desires of living beings until its will was born within the gathered malevolence. 263

After condensing a blood fetus and merging with it, the Demon Lord left the Netherworld Blood Sea and devastated the Nine Provinces Continent. It reached peak Eighth Realm cultivation and nearly attained Blood Godhood, but Great Jun Heavenly Emperor Ji Tianjun attained Demigodhood and killed it using a Demon God treasure. 263

Before its first death, it manipulated conflicts between humans and demons through subordinates capable of soul possession. The great Human-Demon war was ultimately revealed to have been instigated by the Blood Soul Demon Lord rather than arising from an unavoidable racial enmity. 305

Its incomplete inheritances later supported the Soul Nest and Yellow Springs Demonic Palace, the two remaining major Demonic Dao forces in Qingzhou. The spread of the Blood Food method among demons was also believed to stem from arrangements it left behind. 263

Resurrection and Death

Demonic forces spent centuries collecting and storing ill will in the Gray Corpse Blessed Land to hasten the Demon Lord's return. It revived in the Flame Blood Lake, where the Corpse Demon King, King Youhuai, and Li Ciyou recognized the fetus as the Blood Soul Demon Lord and submitted to it. 391 395

After its resurrection, it considered the contemporary Demonic Dao a degraded remnant of its legacy. It taught its followers Demonic Dao knowledge and the second chapter of the Blood Demon Scripture, while ordering them to gather Seven Emotions and Six Desires for the Blood Pool so it could reclaim Venerable cultivation. 391 441

The Demon Lord fled Qingzhou after the battle at the Gray Corpse Blessed Land and eventually established itself in the Blood Demon Hall on the 999th level of the Abyss, beside the Sea of Blood. There, it used its followers and the Blood Demon Scripture as components of a larger recovery scheme. 437 443 457

Murong Luoli severely depleted its reserves, but failed to kill it. Lu Yang subsequently fought the Demon Lord through a prolonged battle of attrition, pursued it through the Abyssal Ground, and ultimately killed it despite the intervention of the Dragon Bone Demon Venerable. 461 468 473 475

Following its resurrection, the Blood Soul Demon Lord first appeared as a fetus with deep-crimson eyes and an oppressive evil aura. 391

It prefers indirect control, manipulation, and layered contingencies to straightforward confrontation. Ten thousand years earlier, it incited a world-shaking Human-Demon war without personally spilling blood. 443 452

It is also intensely proud of its identity as a “true demon” and wishes to prove itself by defeating Ji Tianjun, whom it regards as a rival. 391 However, its confidence can become a weakness: Murong Luoli's interference with its emotions provoked anger and caused it to make a decisive mistake. 451 473

When cornered, it abandons dignity without hesitation, offering secrets, inheritances, and even accepting enslavement under an ancient Heavenly Dao oath in exchange for survival. 470 473
