"Though I have never seen it, my ancestors' records mention Sapient Life that came from inland and communicated with them."

Dragon Turtle spoke slowly, seemingly with a trace of longing.

"The canopy forms the sky; beneath its crown, all things flourish."

Those simple words seemed to reveal extraordinary information.

Although Kevin and the others were curious as well, there was too little information available. They could only grasp the general idea.

Simply put, the World Tree's canopy was so enormous that it directly covered the sky over a vast area.

Yet beneath that sky, the region would thrive with life because of some characteristic of the World Tree.

There was no knowing just how large this World Tree truly was. If it was truly absurdly huge, beyond the limits of imagination, then perhaps even part of the Sky Overlord's territory was merely within the area covered by its canopy.

Afterward, Kevin and the others asked all sorts of questions. Only after most of their doubts had been answered did they finally pause. They had truly gained a great deal.
