History

Grassland Elf commander

Shilke originally led the Grassland Elves' Elf Cavalry. During the campaign against the Lizardmen, he used mobile cavalry archery to wear down enemy forces and later led his knights in close combat against Raptor Cavalry. 318 328

The Lizardmen destroyed his village and killed much of his tribe, including Chieftain Slaven. Shilke searched the ruins for survivors and recovered the bodies of his kin, but collapsed in a blizzard and suffered severe frostbite. Qian Sui found and carried him back to Grassland Village. 345 352

Joining Great Zhou

After learning how few Grassland Elves had survived, Shilke asked Zhou Xu to treat his wounded tribesmen and let them remain in Great Zhou territory to recover. 341

When food shortages made continued aid unsustainable, Zhou Xu offered the Grassland Elves a choice: leave or become Great Zhou citizens. Shilke chose submission to secure his people's survival, and Zhou Xu appointed him a Second Lieutenant over the Grassland Elves. 355 356

He adapted quickly to military life, becoming notably stricter with new Grassland Elf recruits and enforcing the discipline he had once lacked. 397

Officer and royal guard

Shilke and Zhuo Ge were promoted to Lieutenant during the Shield Dragon incident. 445 He later became Zhou Xu's Personal Soldier Captain, one of the ruler's closest confidants, before serving as a high-ranking officer in Great Zhou's armies. 626 1287 1941

Diplomat among the elves

When Great Zhou encountered the Wood Elves, Shilke volunteered as its representative. He sought peaceful coexistence, warned them against isolation, and persuaded Chieftain Locke to form an alliance after demonstrating his martial and archery skill. 783 785 788

He later contacted another Elf realm beyond the former Goblin Kingdom. Although the Elf King offered to bring him back into the Elf fold, Shilke refused to abandon Great Zhou, explaining that his loyalty rested on both past aid and shared ideals. 1945 1948

The Elf King subsequently trained him in Palace Swordsmanship and permitted him to undertake the Elf Ancient Tree's inheritance trial. The trial granted him the Storm Sword Saint class and elevated him to the Vertical and Horizontal Realm. 1964 1967 1995 1999
