In the end, Mihawk defeated every challenger by a wide margin.

Although Mihawk had lost to Kiyotsune Kuniichi, he was already one of the world's top swordsmen. With the old monsters staying out of it, there were few who could compare to him.

After several years, Wano Country had become all but forgotten. Only a few people remained in the Reiko region. No trade meant no income, and Reiko's icy climate made it heavily dependent on outside supplies, leaving it reliant on the Night Pirates.

Most of Wano Country's resources had been seized by the Night Pirates.

In the eyes of the world, however, the World Government was to blame for everything that had happened.

Only a handful of people could see the Night Pirates' shadow behind it all, but there was no evidence, so the World Government took all the blame.

The Marines remained steady, keeping a low profile even in the New World.
