Qian Renxue infiltrated the Heaven Dou Empire under the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. From a young age, she was taught methods of controlling subordinates; as Crown Prince, she refined these skills to win talented people through courtesy, benefits, and personal attention 11.

She first approached Ye Zhou at Heaven Dou Royal Academy after learning of his Innate Full Soul Power. Presenting herself as a considerate senior, she arranged for the Soul Emperor Yao Yuan to teach him the procedures of Martial Soul awakening, intending to secure his loyalty 11 12.

At the Heaven Dou Auction House, Qian Renxue recruited Shi Jian as a royal Guest Elder. She promised Heaven Dou's complete assistance in rebuilding Maoshan in exchange for his friendship and support during royal crises, thereby bringing the powerful Maoshan Sect into her political sphere 25 27. She also claimed Ye Zhou as her junior and later invited him into the Heaven Dou Royal Team 25 32.

Her relationship with Ye Zhou evolved into nominal sworn brotherhood. She appointed him the Young Protector of the Crown Prince to stabilize her position within the royal family, while Ye Zhou remained aware of her manipulative nature 52 53 108.

Believing Tang Hao had killed her father, Qian Xun Ji, Qian Renxue began pursuing revenge against Tang Hao and the Clear Sky Sect. She used Shi Jian's divination, the authority of the Crown Prince, and the support of Snake Lance and Porcupinefish Douluo to organize an effort to locate and eliminate Tang Hao 63. Her hatred eventually developed into a continent-spanning alliance intended to destroy the Clear Sky Sect 129 130 160.

Following the Household God selection conference, Qian Renxue publicly revealed her true identity. She sought Household God quotas to preserve the Qian Family's standing and contemplated using the Angel God inheritance rather than ransom Bibi Dong 291 292 297. After reading the Douluo Continent novel, she accepted that its account of her tragic future was real and chose to change that fate by completing the Angel God's trials 298 299.

She habitually frames recruitment and control as warmth, respect, or concern: she treated Ye Zhou as a valued junior while privately expecting his gratitude and loyalty in return 11. Her recruitment of Shi Jian likewise relied on royal resources, strategic promises, and the authority of her Crown Prince identity 25.

Despite her scheming, she is capable of genuine worry for those close to her. She panicked when she could not contact Snake Lance and Porcupinefish Douluo after the operation against Tang Hao, and she later regretted the circumstances surrounding their injuries 70. Her feelings toward Ye Zhou gradually became complicated; she questioned whether he could stand by her side and recognized that her ideal type resembled him 251.

Her strongest driving force is revenge for Qian Xun Ji. Because she mistakenly believes Tang Hao killed her father, her campaign against the Clear Sky Sect becomes increasingly obsessive and frenzied 63 130 160.
