Background / History

The Ink Jade Realm began as the incomplete Ink Jade Ancient Treasure, a dark-green half jade pendant carried by Fan Shanyue. Ye Kang discovered that it was a storage magic treasure after injecting it with True Qi; it contained valuables and the manuals for Shadow-Piercing Steps and Spirit Butterfly Thousand Illusions Body 45.

The treasure’s missing half belonged to the Thief King. After obtaining it, Ye Kang learned that the reunited pendant remained too damaged to repair itself; the Divine Martial Furnace identified Mysterious Violet Crystal Sand as the required repair material 244. By the time the treasure became complete, its storage space had expanded dramatically and revealed the dangerous ancient inheritance Palm Thunder Marsh 356.

Ye Kang later used the Divine Martial Furnace to refine the complete ancient treasure, a Two Realms Stone, and the Yin Saint Devil Master Secret Realm. The resulting Small World inherited stable rules, seasonal cycles, celestial phenomena, diverse terrain, protected native life, and a more independent spiritual-power system. Ye Kang named it the Ink Jade Realm 583.

The realm’s first granted permission allows Ye Kang to enter or leave at will.

Residents and Society

Nearly a thousand people were initially transferred into the Ink Jade Realm, causing widespread panic until Xia Ningyan welcomed them and explained their new home 584. The Ye and Xie families later settled there openly, while the Yang Family arrived through Ye Kang’s instant transportation method 585 587.

The settlement around Devil Lord Hall developed into a small city. The Xie Family, Yang Family, and Tyrant Whale Sect built separate manors but gradually lived and cultivated together; stronger residents regularly taught martial arts and guided others 662.

Xia Ningyan maintains important restrictions inherited from the Yin Saint Devil Master Secret Realm: residents may not enter the Devil Master’s sleeping quarters without permission or bully the resident demons 585.

Refuge for Ye Kang’s Allies

After its creation, the Ink Jade Realm became Ye Kang’s means of removing his family and allies from external danger. The Ye and Xie families disappeared from Jinling overnight and were relocated into the Small World, beyond the reach of the city’s power struggles 584 585.

Escape from Luofu Debris

Ke Yuanzhou moved the Luofu Water Tower into the realm and used the Void Escape Needle to conceal the realm as dust while crossing the realm barrier. The passage carried Ye Kang and the realm’s residents out of Luofu Debris and into the Nine Provinces Realm 607 609.

Cultivation Base and Production Center

The realm developed beyond a hiding place into a cultivation community. Its residents study martial arts, cultivate in its dense spiritual qi, produce array materials, conduct research, and manage treasure plants and other resources for Ye Kang’s wider operations 662 737 889.

Continuously Evolving Small World

Ye Kang repeatedly strengthens the realm by integrating Grotto Heaven Magic Treasures, terrain, Fortune Pearls, Dao Intent, and inherited resources. Each integration expands its territory, enriches its environment, or improves its spiritual and Dao-related foundations 742 901 918 986 1000.
