Background / History

The Primordial World was created when Pangu opened heaven and earth. By the beginning of the story, it has already endured the Fierce Beast Tribulation and Dragon–Phoenix Tribulation, while conflict between the Witch and Demon Races is escalating. Its lowest cultivation realm is Earth Immortal; Human Immortals do not exist in its system. 1

Nuwa creates the Human Race on the eastern side of the continent, near a vast river, and declares a ten-thousand-year protected territory around them. Her proclamation spreads the Human Race's name throughout the world and prevents cultivators above Earth Immortal from entering their territory. 1 2

Following the Human Race's emergence, the world becomes increasingly interconnected through Human Trade City. Scouts and traders from numerous races visit the border city, exchanging goods and information; the Human Race uses this contact to compile racial profiles and train against foreign opponents. 7

The withdrawal of the Wu Race into the Underworld creates a major power vacuum. The Demon Race attempts to dominate the continent, other races rebel, Kunpeng leads the North Sea clan away from the Demon Race, and the Asura Race expands into the world. 15

After a later calamity, Pangu's will suppresses the Heavenly Dao's selfish consciousness, and the Great Dao erases it. The Sages restore the damaged Primordial World, while its Heavenly Dao remains as impartial principles rather than a personal will. 46

Nature and Cultivation Environment

• The Primordial World is an Eternal True Realm; only such a realm can nurture Sage-level cultivators. 35

Civilization and Development

The Human Race's rise changes the Primordial World's balance of power. Its Rune Technology produces weapons, talismans, battle armor, elixirs, and Annihilation Cannons, while trade with the Wu Race supplies resources and supports an industrial chain in refining and forging. 14

Teleportation arrays later connect Human cities with the northern frontier, reducing travel from roughly half a year to minutes and accelerating exploration of the Northern Primordial Wilds. 52

The Red Dust Realm’s ascension channel allows its cultivators to reach the Primordial World through Luo Shui City without attracting outside attention. This model later inspires similar ascension systems for worlds captured on the outer battlefield. 53 75

Major Conflicts

Witch–Demon Strife

The Witch and Demon Races are the dominant powers in the early world, and their worsening conflict forms the principal danger surrounding the young Human Race. 1

After the Wu Race enters the Underworld, the Demon Race launches a campaign to unify the continent, only to face rebellion from previously subordinated races. 15

Demon Court Wars

The Demon Court wages war against rebellious demon factions, including Kunpeng's North Sea Demon Race. The resulting chaos leads Jiang He to recall Human cultivators scattered across the Primordial World. 18

Outer-Domain War

Hongjun and Yang Mei migrate the Magic Great World through Chaos toward the Primordial World, drawing the attention of countless surrounding worlds. 66

The resulting conflict expands into a war against the Chaos Myriad Worlds Alliance. The Magic Great World becomes the central battlefield, while the Primordial World's Sages and armies defend against external forces seeking its origin. 70 71

At Jiang He's command, the races establish a coordinated defense line centered on the World Tree. The Demon Race provides long-range attacks, the Witch Race leads close combat, Human legions finish engagements, and the Dragon and Phoenix Clans protect the flanks. 72
