Background
Xiao Ka knew Yue Hongchen before they arrived on the Sun Moon Continent. She does not know why she came there: she recalls falling asleep and waking after following the Blood Oath Pact. When Yue awakens that Martial Soul, he meets her in his Sea of Consciousness 2.
At first, Xiao Ka can perceive the outside world but cannot leave Yue’s Sea of Consciousness. Once he reaches the Soul Elder rank, she can manifest outside it for short periods. Meng Hongchen becomes her closest friend besides Yue 2 6. Xiao Ka later accompanies them at Shrek Academy and on their journey into the Far North 7 27.
Appearance
Xiao Ka is small, with long golden hair, blue eyes and pointed ears that give her an elven appearance 2.

Personality
Xiao Ka is playful and sometimes jealous of Yue’s attention to others. She teases him during Meng’s misunderstanding about the Lan sisters, but admits the truth when the joke upsets Meng 12. She also worries that Yue may grow close to the three girls he faces in the freshman assessment 15 16.
She enjoys Huo Yuhao’s grilled fish, though she is uneasy when Yue proposes seeking him out while he is not selling it. At their first tasting, she praises how it is prepared but asks for the smallest fish on future visits 7 16.
