Merit is a reward for behavior, an equivalent exchange under Law of Cause and Effect. How much contribution you make will be how much Merit will be reduced, no more, no less, impartial.
But blessing is not cause and effect, it is not a reward, it is not even "giving".
Blessing is when Great Dao projects its own will onto the person being blessed, not because of what he has done, but because of who he is.
Xuande is the Form Transformation of the Chaos Green Lotus seed. It is the last continuation of the Great Dao bloodline in Primordial Wilderness. It is the only lotus flower that has re-bloomed to the twenty-fourth level after the withering of Chaos Green Lotus.
