Obito was battered and covered in grime.

The first time he used Kamui on Yomotsu Hirasaka and ended up in another dimension, he knew his attempt had failed again.

When Obito used it once more, he was simply trying to get back to the Shinobi World.

No attacks had come from that side in a while, giving Obito a long reprieve.

Of course, Obito wasn't having an easy time. The attacks from inside had stopped, but outside, he was still taking a beating from the natural conditions of the other dimensions.

If they couldn't finish him off, Obito would come back sooner or later.

They could attack him then.

They held off on attacking because the Portal opened by their attacks might give Obito a trail to follow straight back.

Besides, forcing Obito to travel one more time and spend more Chakra was worthwhile.
