Background / History

Luo Hou initially appears alongside Hong Jun at Ziwei Emperor Star, where they seek Di Tian's assistance against Beast Emperor Shen Ni. Both are uneasy about Di Tian's emerging power and harbor ambitions concerning the Primordial World. 2

Before the Dao-Devil Conflict, Luo Hou asks Di Tian to restrain Yin Yang, Qian Kun, and Five Elements while he confronts Hong Jun. He offers the God Slaying Spear and Four Swords of Zhuxian as payment, but turns hostile after Di Tian refuses; his intended victory would have been followed by the conquest of both the Star Court and the Primordial World. 27

During the conflict, Luo Hou sacrifices billions of Devil Race members to unleash the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation. He drives Qian Kun away, kills Five Elements, and pressures Yin Yang, but Hong Jun's One Qi Transforms Three Corpses overturns the battle. 32 35

Di Tian offers him a second chance at defeating Hong Jun in return for his True Spirit, the God Slaying Spear, the Four Swords of Zhuxian, and the Zhuxian Formation Diagram. Luo Hou accepts, detonates the earth veins around Mount Sumeru, establishes the Demonic Path and Demon Realm, and vanishes after Di Tian secretly collects his True Spirit. 36

Di Tian later merges Luo Hou's True Spirit with the Seven Killings Star, enabling his rebirth as the Seven Kill Star God. Luo Hou accepts Di Tian as a steadfast ally, returns half of the Devil World Authority to him, and begins mentoring Greedy Wolf and Army Breaker in the Demonic Path. 38 68 69

Seeking the position of the Western Spirit, Luo Hou uses his nature as an Extraterrestrial Demon to invade Bai Hu's soulless body. The possession is completed after a gradual replacement of Bai Hu's consciousness, giving Luo Hou access to Bai Hu's immense physical foundation and affinity for negative forces. 97 103 157

Personality

Luo Hou is proud, ruthless, and intensely contemptuous of weakness. He responds badly to refusal or perceived disrespect, readily abandoning diplomacy for violence and demanding absolute submission. 27 87

He is also pragmatic when survival and future revenge are at stake. Faced with destruction in the Dao-Devil Conflict, he accepts Di Tian's terms, curtails the scope of the Western earth-vein detonation, and invests his merit into stabilizing the Demon Realm rather than restoring himself. 36
