Background / History

The Primordial World was born after Pan Gu's death. His spine became Mount Buzhou; his limbs and skin became the Primordial Land; his blood and sweat became rivers; his eyes became Yin and Yang; and the hair of his Heavenly Spirit became the Zhou Tian Stars 1.

The remnants and resentment of the Chaos Demon Gods gathered into ferocious gods, bringing the Ferocious Beast Calamity and placing the world's living beings in danger 1. After this calamity, the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin races expanded aggressively and established a three-way territorial stalemate 8.

Structure and Cosmic Features

• Primordial Land — The world's central landmass, formed from Pan Gu's limbs and skin; it is initially plagued by ferocious beasts and constant warfare 1.
• Mount Buzhou — Formed from Pan Gu's spine and supports heaven and earth. Its eventual collapse becomes imminent when the world expands under the fully awakened Earth Dao 1 194.
• Zhou Tian Stars — Formed from the hair of Pan Gu's Heavenly Spirit; the Ziwei Emperor Star holds authority over the surrounding stars 1 2.
• Extraterrestrial Starry Sky — The stellar domain outside the Primordial Land, where Ziwei Emperor Star's imperial aura commands the worship of innumerable stars 2.
• North Sea — A region comparatively undisturbed by the Ferocious Beast Calamity when Di Tian and Wang Shu arrive there 8.
• Three Immortal Islands — Includes Penglai, Yingzhou, and Fangzhang. They contain rare spiritual roots and unusual formations suited to cultivation 90 91.
• Nether Ghost Realm / Nine Netherworld Underworld — The underworld established after the completion of the Six Paths of Reincarnation 152.
• Thirty-Six Heavens Great World — Thirty-six Greater Chiliocosms opened beyond the Primordial World; Di Tian intends to merge them into a single world 214 226 227.

Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Order

Heavenly Dao

The Heavenly Dao governs part of the world's order and can grant merit for major acts, including the creation of races and the establishment of sects 160 162. Hong Jun acts as its spokesperson and holds more than ninety percent of its authority 251.

Earth Dao

The Earth Dao fully awakens after Kua Fu proclaims the “Earth Spirit Co-prosperity” plan to repair the Earth Veins. Its revival expands the world barrier, creates new territories, and brings the Earth Dao into parallel governance with the Heavenly Dao 194.

The Earth Dao Gods lineage, founded by Ao Ge, Qi Yuan, and Kua Fu, manages earth veins and prevents disorder 195. The Earth Dao Divine Wheel embodies authority over this path and allows its holder to observe the Primordial World 200.

Humanity Path

The Human Clan becomes a major force under the protection of Nuwa and Di Tian. Tong Tian's teaching enables many Innate Humans to reach the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm, and the Human Sect is established to guide humanity's understanding of heaven and earth 188.

Reincarnation and the Underworld

Hou Tu opens the Six Paths of Reincarnation with the Heaven Splitting Divine Axe. The system includes three benevolent paths—Heavenly God, Asura, and Human—and three punitive paths—Animal, Hungry Ghost, and Hell 150.

Once completed, the Six Paths draw in wandering souls, vengeful ghosts, and spirits. Reincarnation is determined by merit and sin, helping transition the world from innate to acquired lifeforms and preventing overpopulation and resource exhaustion 151.

Hou Tu then establishes the Nether Ghost Realm and Nine Netherworld Underworld. The completed underworld receives Primordial World merit and Earth Path Yin Virtue 152. Its hierarchy includes the Five Directional Ghost Emperors, Ten Kings of Yama, and Meng Po 154.

World Laws and Defenses

• Suppression of external invaders — Beings entering from outside the world have their cultivation and magic treasures suppressed. The stronger the invader, the greater the suppression, so long as their strength remains within the world's tolerance 137.
• World barrier — Expands when the Earth Dao fully revives, accompanying the emergence of new territories 194.
• Merit and Yin Virtue — Major acts that establish order, create life, or benefit living beings can draw rewards from the world or its paths 152 160 162.
• Fortune — The fortune of the Primordial Myriad Races and the spiritual energy of the Primordial Land can be invoked in large-scale rituals, as seen in the Heavenly Court's Heaven Worship Ritual 218.
