Heaven, Earth, and Human

The Primordial World was meant to possess the interconnected Three Daos: Heavenly Dao, Earthly Dao, and Human Dao. The Heavenly Dao emerged first, while the incomplete Human Dao contributed to a world-threatening collapse. 57 121

After the world's reconstruction, Primordial Dao rebuilt the Dao artifacts of all Three Daos using the unified will of the Three Thousand Worlds as their foundation. 335

Fate, Karma, and Destiny

The River of Fate governs the destinies within the world. Its reversal destabilized the Jade Plate of Creation and shattered the Heavenly Dao's repaired karma and fate arrangements. 57

History

Early instability

The Primordial World was formed from Pangu's body, making its survival inseparable from Pangu's legacy and karma. Schemes surrounding the Witch-Monster conflict aimed to erode that legacy, including the planned destruction of Buzhou Mountain. 4 79

When the Human Dao was lacking, the world entered a catastrophic state: the Eye of Heaven appeared, Dao traditions collapsed, the River of Fate flowed backward, mountains and rivers were submerged, and cracks spread through the realm. Hongjun, the Heavenly Dao Saints, and several treasures—including the Taiji Diagram, Pangu Banner, Donghuang Bell, and Immortal Slaying Sword Formation—temporarily stabilized it. 57

Era of repeated wars

The Witch-Monster war repeatedly turned the Primordial World into a battlefield beyond the capacity of ordinary living beings, forcing many to flee or hide. Mountains were destroyed and widespread casualties followed clashes among the Human Race, Witch Race, Yao Race, and Earthly Dao forces. 84 107 209

Hongjun later released the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin races into the world, alarming its inhabitants with the prospect of another Dragon-Han Calamity. 133

The Civilization Calamity escalated the destruction further. Sect disciples, ancient races, and Saint forces fought across the world; blood rain fell, corpses covered the land, and the ancient races feared that up to ninety percent of the world's living beings could perish. 230 232

Decline, destruction, and restoration

Under Great Dao suppression, the Primordial World endured more than two hundred thousand years of Spiritual Energy scarcity. Cultivators vanished, gods became legends, and the Human Race Dao Tradition was nearly erased. 322

Chu Yan's return triggered another structural catastrophe when he attacked the Great Dao's seal at the old Buzhou Mountain site. Mountains collapsed, the North Sea flooded the land, and the world shook under his killing intent. 323

The subsequent struggle nearly erased the world entirely. Houtu attempted to collapse the Six Paths of Reincarnation, Tongtian deployed the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation, and the surviving Primordial World was ultimately reduced to a fragment described as no larger than a peanut compared with its former scale. 325 330

Primordial Dao later repaired the world by merging the wills of its Three Thousand Worlds, restoring the Six Paths of Reincarnation from the river of time, and recreating the Three Dao artifacts. 335

Revival and ascension

Spiritual Energy returned after the reconstruction, beginning a new era of cultivation. Chu Yan used the resurgence to awaken the Human Race's suppressed memories and restore the Human Race Dao Tradition. 336 337

The completion of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors brought an era of great prosperity and a thousand-year prohibition on killing throughout the Primordial World. 365

During the Great Ascension era, the world's strongest factions departed into Chaos. The Witch Race and Six Paths of Reincarnation ascended, Tongtian took the Eastern islands and Intercepting Sect into Chaos, and Di Xin ordered all Human Race members at Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal level or above to leave for Chaos cultivation. 421
