Background / History

The Human Race initially numbered one hundred thousand Innate Humans, forged from Nine Heavens Soil. Their existence stabilized Human Race Destiny; so long as they remained alive, even the Kongtong Seal could not surpass their importance to the race’s foundation 17.

When Chu Yan was suppressed by Nuwa and several Great Powers, he established a Blood Oath that branded every human soul with self-reliance. He vowed to educate and protect the Human Race in life and become its guardian soul in death, making his existence inseparable from the race’s continued survival 9. The Witch Race defended the Human Race during this crisis, and their destinies subsequently became linked: aiding humans increased Witch Race Destiny, while opposing humans diminished Demon Race Destiny 10 15.

After recognizing Chu Yan as Human Master, the Human Race’s Destiny replenished its losses and rose beyond its former peak. The race then migrated to Buzhou Mountain without accepting outside assistance, treating hardship as necessary for its independent rise 15.

Establishment of the Human Race Dao Tradition

Chu Yan created a cultivation path based on the body, Essence, Qi, and Spirit rather than Heaven-Earth power or the Xuanmen Immortal Path. Its ultimate goal is to turn acupoints and cells into internal worlds, cultivate internal laws, and prove the Dao by force 29 35.

The one hundred thousand Innate Humans sacrificed themselves to establish and safeguard the Human Race Dao Tradition. Their souls and will continued as guardians of the race, embodying the principle that the Human Race must stand upright between Heaven and Earth even in death 36.

Wars against the Demon Race and Primordial Races

The Demon Race repeatedly targeted the Human Race to seize its Destiny and sever its bond with the Witch Race. During one calamity, ninety percent of the Human Race was slaughtered by the Yao Race 52 73.

Survivors and Chaos-trained cultivators later returned to the Primordial World for vengeance. One hundred thousand Human Race Great Luo manifested Dharma Appearance Heaven and Earth, fought alongside the Witch Race, and devastated Yao Race forces 124 125 126. Empowered by the souls of the Innate Humans, they temporarily reached the Quasi-Saint limit, transformed into Golden Dragons, and wielded the Power Law against the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin clans 134 135.

Their victory caused Human Race Destiny to plunder the Destiny of the Primordial World’s three major races. The resulting River of Destiny shattered the Jade Plate of Creation’s suppression and made the Human Race’s rise impossible to contain 136 140.

Civilization and the Human Emperors

Chu Yan selected nine humans for reincarnation to serve as the Three Sovereigns, Five Emperors, and a final Human Emperor. They were chosen from the first acquired humans descended from the Innate Human Race and were tasked with leading humanity into prosperity without relying on divinely appointed merit 140 141.

Cangjie created the first Human character, “Human,” giving the race a lasting written name and marking its history upon the Primordial World. He later created and spread ten thousand characters, beginning Human civilization and preparing his ascension as Human Emperor 205 206.

Chu Yan recorded the race’s history, cultivation, sacrifices, and goals in the Book of Generations. Copies were distributed to every legitimate Human Race member so that the race would remember its martyrs, humiliation, and purpose 225.

Chaos Expansion and Suppression

To secure humanity’s survival beyond the Primordial World, Chu Yan sent multiple groups into Chaos. He forged Chaos origins for millions of humans using Chaos Spirit Earth, Chaos Spirit Spring, Human Race Destiny, and the Supreme Cauldron; these cultivators were bound to the Human Race and instructed to become its vanguard 229.

Human settlers in Chaos adapted by hunting Chaos Beasts, consuming their flesh and blood to improve their foundations, and expanding their population from one hundred thousand cultivators to millions 307. Chu Yan also created a Human Race World of ten thousand manors and palaces, each carrying Human cultivation methods, characters, history, and records of past struggles 308.

The Great Dao later suppressed the Primordial World’s Human Race for over two hundred thousand years, leaving most unable to cultivate and causing them to forget their former glory 322 336. Chu Yan restored their heritage by awakening the history branded into their bones and souls; the Human Race then remembered its resistance to the Yao Race, the Saints, and Heaven itself 337.

Personality

The Human Race is defined by self-reliance, collective resolve, and refusal to submit to external control. Its foundational ideal is that every human should strive for strength and determine their own destiny rather than rely on Heaven, Saints, or other races 9 15.

Its people repeatedly show a willingness to die for the race’s survival. The Innate Humans willingly sacrificed themselves to establish the Human Race Dao Tradition, while later generations entered Chaos, fought the Yao Race, and faced overwhelming enemies without retreat 36 124 135.

Even after prolonged suppression erased much of their history, Human elders and orthodox tribes retained hostility toward Saint Dao Traditions and defended the dignity of the Human Race. The reawakening of their inherited memories reignited their pride, rage, and fighting spirit 336 337 339.

Abilities & Skills

Human Race Dao Tradition

A body-focused cultivation tradition created by Chu Yan, drawing inspiration from the Witch Race’s Nine Revolutions Profound Technique while incorporating the Power Law 23 188.

  • Cultivates Essence, Qi, and Spirit rather than relying on Heaven-Earth power 35.
  • Uses body refinement, meridians, acupoints, cells, and internal worlds as the foundation of cultivation 29 73 81.
  • Values physical strength and combat power over nominal cultivation realm; a practitioner with a Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal-level physique can remain dominant even without reaching that realm conventionally 148.
  • Seeks the eventual goal of proving the Dao by force 18 29.

Dharma Appearance Heaven and Earth

Human cultivators can enlarge into colossal forms that drastically increase their physical strength and combat power.

  • One hundred thousand Human Race cultivators manifest forms thousands of feet tall against the Yao Race 125.
  • Empowered Great Luo can reach ten thousand feet in height 134.
  • One hundred thousand Quasi-Saints use the technique against the Heavenly Dao’s forces outside Chaoge City 401.
  • The technique is associated with the Human Race’s physique-based path and distinguishes them from ordinary Xuanmen Dharma Body projections 125.

Power Law and Golden Dragon Manifestation

The Human Race can invoke the Power Law through the souls and guardianship of the Innate Humans.

  • One hundred thousand empowered Great Luo transform into Golden Dragons and display the Power Law against the Primordial Three Races 135.
  • The awakened guardian spirits of the Innate Humans appear as one hundred thousand Golden Dragons, which can unite into a colossal dragon 339.
  • This power raises Human combat strength to the Quasi-Saint limit under the appropriate conditions 134 135.

Human Race Destiny

The race’s collective Destiny is a central source of protection, growth, and political power.

  • Human Race Destiny rises when the race unites behind its Human Master and Dao Tradition 15 26.
  • It can be used as fuel for forging treasures, creating Chaos origins, and establishing worlds in Chaos 59 229 308.
  • Its explosive rise formed the River of Destiny and broke the Jade Plate of Creation’s suppression 136 140.
  • It remains vulnerable to Karma and large-scale calamities, which can consume or reduce it severely 205 334 379.
