Background / History

During the Dragon-Han Initial Tribulation, Luohu was one of the hidden instigators behind the conflict of the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin races. He gathered the slaughterous intent from their war to forge the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation. 33

In the War of Dao and Demon, Dao Ancestor Hongjun, Old Ancestor Yangmei, Old Ancestor Yin-Yang, and Daoist Qiankun cornered Luohu in the Western World. Luohu detonated the Western leylines with a Heavenly Dao treasure, killing Old Ancestor Yin-Yang and Daoist Qiankun, but Hongjun's Three Corpses Incarnations ultimately defeated him. 1

Rather than being killed, Luohu was recruited by the Heavenly Dao and transformed into an Outer Realm Heavenly Demon. The Immortal Slaying Sword Formation fell to Hongjun, while the God-Slaying Spear and Twelve-Petal World-Destroying Black Lotus disappeared. 1

After his exile, Luohu sought an alliance with the wounded Old Ancestor Yangmei to oppose Hongjun and recreate Chaos. Yangmei refused, advising him that Hongjun could only be defeated by beginning from within the Primordial World. 33

Luohu returned to the Primordial World as the Demonic Sect re-emerged around Mount Sumeru. His remaining origin had previously produced Demon Lord Jidu, whose fall compelled Luohu to directly intervene against East King Duke and Hongjun. 48 231

He attempted to recruit Eastern Emperor Taiyi through the latter's hatred and injuries, while also revealing possession of Dark Chaos Demon God remains connected to Taiyi. 197 233

Struggle for Mount Sumeru and the Western Teachings

Chonglou's death at Skeleton God Monarch's hands devastated Luohu. Upon achieving the Half-step Hunyuan Great Dao, Luohu swore to kill Skeleton God Monarch, but Supreme Being Shanggu persuaded him to seek allies instead of attacking recklessly. 670 671

Destruction of the Myriad Worlds

Driven by resentment and jealousy, Luohu ordered the Demonic Sect to slaughter all beings in the Myriad Worlds. Their Divine Souls, True Spirits, and blood were to be refined into treasures such as the Soul Refining Banner, Immortal-Slaying Sword, and Blood Path Slaughter Disk. 751

After the Myriad Worlds were emptied of life, Luohu prepared to personally destroy the world. The resulting calamity enabled his breakthrough to the Primordial Great Dao Realm. 753 754

Loss of the Millstone and Death
