Taizhen received Donghua at the Jade Pool of West Kunlun after his arrival. Their discussion concerned the Dao, the situation in the Primordial World, and the need for Innate Divine Beings to seek compatible Dao Companions. They subsequently cultivated and verified the Great Dao together, beginning a partnership founded on the complementary principles of pure yin and pure yang 18.

She accompanied Donghua into a hidden space rift and chose to remain with him after its passage sealed, stating that they should leave together and support one another in danger 24. During the ensuing campaign against the remaining Fierce Beasts, she fought alongside him against Qiongqi, Chaos, Qiong Taotie, and Taotie. Their victory and the purification of the secret realm earned them merit 25 26 29 31.

After attending Hongjun's sermon at Purple Cloud Palace, Taizhen accepted Donghua's Jade Disk of Creation Fragment. Though initially reluctant because it contained both the Time and Pure Yang Laws, she accepted after Donghua affirmed that their fortunes were already intertwined. She then entered seclusion in West Kunlun to comprehend the Time Law 37.

Taizhen aided Donghua and Kong Xuan in purifying Fierce Beast remains in the extreme north. The merit gained from restoring the region enabled her to sever her good corpse, Pure Yin, and become a Quasi-Saint 54 55.

After further cultivation, she attained the Hunyuan Golden Immortal realm and manifested her Hunyuan Dao Fruit on Penglai Immortal Island 78.
