"Whatever. If they know, they know. Who cares?" Lin Ran thought as he walked over to the bed, opened the carton of milk, took out a bottle, opened it, inserted a straw, and handed it to Nobara Kugisaki.

Then Lin Ran opened a bottle for himself and started drinking, looking satisfied. "It tastes pretty good. The stuff here all tastes quite nice."

"Hey, didn't you buy that for me? Why are you drinking it yourself?" Nobara Kugisaki frowned at Lin Ran. "And what do you mean by 'the stuff here'? Here compared to where?"

Lin Ran merely chuckled without answering. His gaze fell on Nobara Kugisaki's legs sticking out from beneath the blanket. "Pull the blanket up properly. Even with stockings on, you'll still catch a chill. It's raining today."

"Huh?" Nobara Kugisaki did not understand at first. When she finally did, her expression changed, and she roared at Lin Ran, "These aren't fucking stockings! So, Lin Ran, you really are a pervert! The first time I saw you, I could already tell you looked shifty as hell! You looking for a beating? Don't think I won't beat you up just because you got lucky and beat a Special Grade Cursed Spirit."

"Sorry, sorry. It won't happen again," Lin Ran immediately apologized. Looks like the soundproofing in this hospital wasn't very good.

Nobara Kugisaki was so angry that she could not even speak. She sucked down the entire bottle of milk in one go, tossed the empty carton at Lin Ran, then said to the nurse, "Please make him leave. He's disturbing my rest."
