Background / History

Points were a special ability Lin Ran acquired after reincarnating into the world. The system converted achievements—primarily the destruction of cursed spirits or evil people—into a currency that could be exchanged for designated items, Cursed Tools, Cursed Techniques, and major power upgrades 2.

Its first major progression occurred when Lin Ran killed a Grade 1 cursed spirit and received 82 Points. Combined with his existing 60 Points, this allowed him to claim Cursed Energy Armor 2. From there, Lin Ran deliberately hunted cursed spirits to reach the next thresholds, eventually expanding the system from beginner rewards into the Deluxe Pass and cross-world progression 24 26 90.

The system later became central to Lin Ran’s training strategy. He used the Dimensional Space-Time Mirror to hunt enemies, complete plot objectives, train his classmates, and accumulate enough Points for Infinite Cursed Energy, advanced armor, enhanced Domains, and his ultimate techniques 219 224 232 297.

Functions

Point Acquisition

Points are awarded according to the value of the defeated target or completed objective.

• Cursed spirit grade influences the reward, although individual values vary. A Grade 4 cursed spirit provided between 8 and 11 Points, while a Grade 3 cursed spirit provided 32 Points 24 60.
• A Grade 1 cursed spirit awarded 82 Points 2.
• Hanami awarded 295 Points after being killed 160.
• Buli, a powerful Special Grade Cursed Spirit, awarded 878 Points 210.
• Large numbers of weaker cursed spirits can produce substantial totals; Lin Ran earned 123 Points from one wave of Grade 4 spirits 73.
• Completing a world’s plot can also generate Points. Ensuring a spaceship and its crew escaped safely awarded 300 Points 219.
• Zombies in the Resident Evil world were worth approximately 1–3 Points each 219.
• Defeating Raditz in the Dragon Ball world awarded 1,000 Points 224.
• Points can be distributed to multiple participants. During the Giant scenario, Lin Ran received 500 Points while each participating classmate received 100 232.

Reward Progression

The original Standard Version used cumulative reward thresholds. Its documented reward line included Cursed Energy Overload, Basic Blue-Black Flash, Cursed Energy Armor, Cursed Energy Output, Black Steel, Time Flash, Power Doubling, Domain Expansion: Sun and Moon, and the Space-Time Mirror 2 37.

The Deluxe Version required 500 Points to unlock and offered substantially stronger rewards. Its listed thresholds included Azure Blue-Black Flash at 600 Points, Sun and Moon Armor at 2,500, Infinite Cursed Energy at 3,200, Rampant Cursed Energy at 4,500, Bankai Black Steel at 5,700, Exponential Damage at 6,000, Phantom Time Flash at 7,400, Sun and Moon Rotation at 8,100, and the Open Dimensional Space-Time Mirror at 9,200 90 192.

After Lin Ran claims a Deluxe reward, the requirement for the next reward resets rather than simply subtracting the cost from his accumulated total 113.

Cursed Technique Acquisition

Points can be exchanged for Cursed Technique Books even when the techniques are not part of the main reward track.

• Reverse Cursed Technique—Regeneration was offered for 100 Points and could regenerate severed limbs, although the context does not confirm that Lin Ran ultimately claimed it 46.
• Retrospect cost 350 Points and was described as a rare, bloodline-dependent Reverse Cursed Technique 81.
• Thunderclap Palm cost 500 Points 116.
• Mind Shield cost 300 Points and protected the brain from intrusion and psychic attacks 116 117.
• The Dragon Institute also contained Dragon’s World Walk and Indestructible Vajra at 500 Points each, while Breathing Method cost 1,000 Points 116.
• Ancient technique books at Great Xia Dragon Sparrow yielded World-Ending Crimson Lotus, Great Xia Dragon Sparrow Blade, and Nether God Possession 167.

Cursed Object Decomposition

After unlocking the Deluxe Version, the system allowed Lin Ran to decompose Special Grade Cursed Objects into Points. Decomposing the Special Grade Cursed Object known as the Iron Token produced 300 Points, which Lin Ran used to obtain Mind Shield 117.

Dimensional Space-Time Mirror

The Space-Time Mirror creates worlds based on the present world and allows Lin Ran to enter alternate scenarios. Entry costs 10 Points, while death inside the Mirror World costs 100 Points and returns him to the original world shortly before death 90.

The Mirror World can also travel backward in time, with older destinations costing more Points. It cannot fast-forward into the future 90.

The system awards Points for both combat and scenario completion, but each world has limits. Once all available rewards have been collected, the system reports that no further Points can be earned there 219 224 234.

Group Training and Resurrection Economy

Lin Ran can bring other people into the Dimensional Space-Time Mirror. Their survival depends on his Point reserves, and he warned them that repeated deaths require enough Points to revive them 231.

The system also allows participants to earn their own Points through shared combat. Lin Ran frequently weakened or delayed his finishing attacks so that his classmates could contribute and receive rewards 232.
