Wutong Academy

Bai Youyue was present at Wutong Academy when Li Dalu was gravely injured outside the blacksmith shop. She rushed there with Old Man Sun after hearing Wang Xian call for help and examined the wounded Li Dalu herself 255.

She referred to Wang Xian as her disciple and chose to leave the academy with him and Li Dalu, confident that Wang Xian would find a way to save the injured boy 263. During their exploration of a hidden cavern, she accompanied Wang Xian into the newly revealed underground plaza 266.

Bai Youyue later tempered herself with two jars of Divine Medicine Dragon Blood while reciting the Longevity Scripture 266.

Imperial City and Dragon Severing Mountain

Before departing the world, Bai Youyue involved herself in Imperial City affairs because she did not want enemies such as Humen Pass City Lord Wang Jinming to remain a threat to Wang Xian 493 496. Her actions brought her into the Imperial Court, where officials recognized the killing intent surrounding her and connected her to Wang Jinming's death 497.

She ultimately chose to go to Dragon Severing Mountain, leaving Zi Jin with her final instructions and entrusting her with an important secret 512.

At Dragon Severing Mountain, Bai Youyue faced thousands of cultivators who had gathered to kill her. She calmly broke Yan Ruobing's sword strike, endured the sects' coordinated assault, and turned their arrows back with a devouring force that drained the life force of those struck 535.

When Yan Ruobing and nine Law Enforcement Hall elders formed a ten-person sword array, Bai Youyue faced them alone. A single bamboo arrow broke the formation and killed nine of the ten cultivators 536 537.
