Background

Fang Mo was an orphan in his previous life who transmigrated into Great Gan. Unable to practice martial arts, take the imperial examinations, or enter business, he was expected to inherit his father Fang Dashan's low-status post as a Heavenly Prison jailer. Fang Dashan later died on duty, officially from a ruptured heart meridian; a coroner instead found that his essence blood had been drained through two punctures in his neck. 1 6

Near despair over his future and his father's death, Fang Mo encountered a remnant soul offering power. He contained it within himself rather than being possessed, awakening the Prison Suppressor and advancing directly to the Qi and Blood Realm.
