Imprisonment Ceremony
After Urahara Kisuke and the others left, Tsuna's family started a party. After a period of merriment, Muguruma Kensei Tsuna Tsuna attend the ceremony to imprison Aizen the day after tomorrow.
In the days following the battle, the Squad 12 had been working tirelessly to make Aizen's prison equipment. It was finally completed today, and after testing it tomorrow, they planned to imprison Aizen in the Central Underground Prison Down the day after.
Kyōraku handed this matter over to the Prison Squad, and the entire process was handled by Muguruma Kensei. The reason Kensei called on Tsuna was because Aizen's strength was too great, and only Tsuna could reliably suppress Aizen.
Without much hesitation, Tsuna agreed. He had almost forgotten that Aizen had been betrayed by Urahara. It was all the Monk's fault for stirring up trouble and making him a candidate for Soul King.
Tsuna's mood quickly improved because Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto and the others brought him news of the Soul King's treatment of the Monk. The thought that the Monk were having a hard time made Tsuna feel better.
As for Aizen, it's indeed worth examining his thoughts, especially after realizing that the Soul King he pursued his entire life was merely a wedge in the world's creation.
The day after tomorrow, Ichigo and the others have returned to the World of the Living, while Tsuna arrives alone at the area set up by the 9th Division.
This area had been cleared out beforehand by Kensei's men, making it relatively open and unlikely to affect surrounding buildings. Furthermore, it's very close to the First Division, allowing for the fastest possible transport of Aizen to Aizen the Jail.
In the center of the open space, the fire-sealing frame that sealed Aizen stood alone, surrounded by staff from the Squad 12 dressed in white robes and uniforms, as well as members of the 9th Division maintaining order.
"Yo, Tsuna, you're here?" Kensei greeted Tsuna immediately upon his arrival. Tsuna was the key to today's operation and deserved priority.
"Just you guys? Aren't Kyōraku and Old Man Yamamoto coming?" Tsuna asked curiously.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto did so because he also had the strength to overpower Aizen. As for Kyōraku, needless to say, Aizen would be spending a lot of time under his thumb and would eventually have to come and open the door.
"Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto..." It was a habit hard to break overnight. "Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto is presiding over the entrance ceremony for the Shino Academy, hoping to quickly discover some talented newcomers and exceptionally recruit them into the Gotei 13."
"Kyōraku is waiting for us in the First Division. He said that with you here, there's nothing to worry about on the journey," Kensei relayed.
Tsuna was impressed by Kyōraku's method of taking breaks whenever possible, but he could understand it. Kyōraku had a lot on his plate right now, so he wanted to rest whenever he could.
As for the future Bleach, Tsuna's impression of the last manga is very vague. He only remembers a hot girl and a cool guy. He's too lazy to think about it. If she's exceptionally talented, she definitely won't escape Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's eyes.
"By the way, has Kyōraku decided on the successor to the 8th Division yet?" Tsuna asked, trying to make conversation as he watched the Squad 12 members busy at work.
"No, right now Vice-Captain Yin Shi and Lisa are handling team affairs together. If you ask me, Lisa can already Bankai, so why not just make her the captain?" Kensei complained.
"It's not that simple. Kyōraku will definitely bring Yoshino Nanao to the First Division. Given that lazybones' personality, he would have taken her away long ago if he wasn't worried about the intelligence work not going smoothly."
"Furthermore, the responsibilities of the Gotei 13 have expanded. Future intelligence work will need to span the Three Worlds, and Lisa alone is indeed insufficient to handle it all."
"Forget it, let him, the Captain-Commander, worry about it himself." Tsuna was too lazy to give Kyōraku any advice.
"Is the impact of the change in responsibilities really that big? I don't feel it at all..." Kensei thought for a moment and said.
"You're just a Prison Squad, what changes could you possibly make? We can't expect you to go and arrest beings from the World of the Living and Hueco Mundo, can we?"
"If nothing unexpected happens, the biggest change for your 9th Division should be the Seireitei Communication. This magazine might be renamed 'Three Worlds Three Worlds,' or something like that."
"Hiss!" Kensei gasped. "Won't Shūhei Hisagi be working himself to death?"
"You're the captain, so take responsibility for your squad's work! Don't always push everything onto Shūhei Hisagi, or he might come after you." Tsuna couldn't help but remind him.
"Ha, fight to the death? Shūhei Hisagi is far from being able to defeat me!" Kensei always had an inexplicable confidence in his strength.
"By the way, do you know about Shūhei Hisagi's Bankai ability?" Tsuna, squinting.
"Bankai? A bigger scythe? I haven't had time lately. I'll give Shūhei Hisagi a proper lesson when I have time," Kensei boasted shamelessly.
Just as Tsuna had expected, Kensei had no idea about Shūhei Hisagi's abilities. He was too lazy to explain to Kensei, thinking that he would realize his mistake once he got his hands on a fight.
"Then you'll have to give it your all in guiding him," Tsuna kindly reminded Kensei.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, Captain of Muguruma, the equipment has been installed and we can begin."
The Squad 12 sent Akon, but Kurotsuchi Mayuri wasn't there; he needed to carefully study how to fuse with his modified Zanpakuto.
"Let's begin then. The shopkeeper has given me the unsealing technique." Clearly, Urahara Kisuke wasn't there either; he was probably studying something.
Walking to the fire-sealing stand, Tsuna held up his fingers together, mobilized his spiritual pressure and wrote an explanation in front of the seal. The seal was slowly untied like a bandage, revealing Aizen Sosuke with his eyes closed inside.
"Hey! Aizen, wake up. Go sleep somewhere else." Kensei walked over, trying to wake Aizen.
Tsuna turned his head and said to the person next to him in an annoyed tone, "Stop teasing the idiot."
The scene changed; Aizen, who was sealed away, disappeared, and a middle-aged man who looked like a handsome young gentleman appeared beside Tsuna. Aizen had put away his Dreamlike Collapse state, and now he was just a middle-aged man in white.
The sudden change jolted everyone on the edge of their seats. All the soldiers drew their Zanpakuto and pointed them at Aizen. Kensei also looked wary; he knew this wouldn't be an easy task.
Aizen ignored everyone, only looking up at the sky with a mixture of regret and understanding on his face. "Sawada Tsunayoshi, you defeated the Soul King Palace?"
Aizen's spiritual pressure was incredibly powerful. Even while he was sealed, he could feel the restless spiritual pressure from Tsuna and the Monk. It was Urahara Kisuke the Hogyoku as a seal, preventing him from escaping.
Otherwise, Aizen would definitely break free of the seal and help Tsuna out.
Unfortunately, the battle ended before the seal could be broken. The moment Aizen emerged, he probed the Soul King Palace with his spiritual pressure. Seeing the ruins of the Soul King Palace, Aizen knew that Tsuna had won.
"Nonsense, if I didn't win, I'd be the one up there as a human shield." Tsuna took his prison uniform from the chair and said, "Put on your clothes and shackles, and finish this quickly so you can go home early."
Aizen didn't take the prison uniform. Instead, he looked at Tsuna with amusement. "Compared to me, you destroyed the Soul King Palace much worse, didn't you? Why are you only punishing me?"
Aizen asked that question on purpose. He did break into the Soul King Palace Soul King Palace, but Tsuna also destroyed it completely. A fair judgment shouldn't only punish him.
"Who told you you were captured because you broke into the Soul King Palace?" Aizen didn't cause trouble, so Tsuna was happy to explain a few things to him. As for the others, they didn't dare to object to what these two big shots said.
"The Soul King has already forgiven the matter of trespassing in the Soul King Palace; in return, the Monk has been punished by the Soul King."
"Oh? It seems that the Soul King is more than just a tool." With just one sentence from Tsuna, Aizen deduced something else.
"You were arrested because of the experiments you conducted in Soul Society and the crimes you committed in Seireitei. You should be convinced of your guilt, shouldn't you?"
Aizen knew exactly how many people he had offended while in Seireitei, and he said with a touch of pride, "I never deny what I've done."
"Let's get started, don't waste time," Tsuna said.
"I have one condition: let me see the Seireitei as it is now."
Aizen had known all along that Seireitei had changed since he left. Although it wasn't built according to his ideas, at least he wanted to see what a no-longer- Seireitei would look like.
Tsuna's expression was somewhat strange. "You want to be paraded through the streets like this? Your tastes are rather peculiar!"
Aizen almost choked to death by Tsuna. Can you call that a public humiliation? He only failed temporarily. Once the Seireitei turns sour, he will come back!
However, Aizen didn't say this aloud. He understood the principle that harboring evil intentions and having treacherous thoughts only makes one's crime more serious.
Tsuna was considering Aizen's conditions. To be honest, having just experienced a great battle, he didn't really want to continue fighting Aizen, especially the kind of battle where he would break Illusion's Illusion and then Aizen would break his. Just thinking about it made him feel bored.
"Tsuna, this won't do. There are too many uncertainties along the way," Kensei whispered in Tsuna's ear. The next moment, Tsuna felt a suffocating sense of death and looked up to see Aizen's smiling face.
This is a threat! Absolutely a threat! Kensei wanted to protest, but he lacked the strength to back it up.
"The Seireitei is not something I can decide," Tsuna, looking troubled.
"I promise you again, I will not cause any trouble while I am being tortured," Aizen added.
"Wait a moment." Tsuna picked up the communicator and discussed it with Kyōraku. After a few nods, Tsuna said, "Kyōraku agrees to your conditions. Put on the prison garb."
"Kyōraku? Shunsui Kyōraku? Has he succeeded as Captain-Commander?" Aizen immediately understood the situation.
"Stop talking nonsense, the First Division's samurai are here. It was agreed that we'd just do a quick spin around and be done with it," Tsuna said, pointing to the prison chair.
"What I promise will always stand." Aizen flashed and sat down in a chair, his prison clothes and equipment automatically donning themselves, rendering the men Kensei had prepared completely useless.
Tsuna pretended to walk around, then said, "Alright, you're dressed well. Everyone in the First Division, let's go."
To be honest, Tsuna doesn't think these things can restrain Aizen. Only those who have truly fused their Zanpakuto know how powerful it is, Beyond Bankai.
What can Aizen bind Aizen now is only his own heart—the dejected heart that spent hundreds of years and exhausted every means to achieve his dream, only to have it all vanish in the end.
