The Soul King's Arrangement
With a somersault, Tsuna awoke from his unconsciousness, his mind still tense from the battle with the Monk.
Tsuna's sudden movement startled Tatsuki, who was standing beside him. Seeing Tsuna's nervous expression, Tatsuki out laughing, "The battle is over, you won, forgot?"
Tsuna's muscles suddenly relaxed, and he slumped back onto the bed. Images of Tatsuki and the others celebrating for him flashed through his mind. It was all because the battle with the Monk was too intense, causing his mind to be filled with images of the fight.
"You rest first, I'll call Captain Unohana to come and take a look," Tatsuki said, handing Tsuna a glass of warm water.
After a thorough examination, Unohana Retsu said with certainty, "No hidden injuries were found, but the body is a bit weak and needs to replenish energy."
"How could I not feel weak?" Tsuna felt his stomach pounding. "Thank you, Captain Unohana. How many days have I been unconscious?"
"In five days, Tatsuki -chan has already started preparing the meals. You should rest for a while."
After Tsuna recovered, Unohana Retsu didn't stay at the Sawada for long. She was going to the Fourth Division to find Kirinjī Tenshirō. After finally catching up with her teacher who taught her the Dao, how could she not leave behind some souvenirs?
For example, a simplified version of a hot spring.
The news of Tsuna's awakening spread quickly among the high-ranking members of Seireitei. Tsuna had just started eating when his room was turned into a secret room.
Even Tatsuki wasn't left inside; only Tsuna, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, Urahara, and the new Captain-Commander Kyōraku remained. Kyōraku only got in because of his Captain-Commander title; otherwise, he wouldn't have been qualified to sneak in.
"The situation is quite serious. You eat first, and I'll explain." Urahara Kisuke said to Tsuna.
"While you were fighting the Monk, I was summoned by Soul King and went to the Soul King King's Soul King Palace to pay my respects to him."
"The Soul King has conveyed a great deal of information to me, which I will now share with you all."
"First, there's the unleashing of Beyond Bankai. Because power Beyond Bankai level would shake the stability of the world, Soul King fundamentally sealed this path. Even someone as strong as Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto only managed to cultivate Bankai to the second stage in a thousand years."
"Tsuna, your Beyond Bankai was achieved by exploiting a loophole in another world. But don't worry, Soul King left the possibility of cultivating to a level Beyond Bankai in everyone."
"When Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto Monk fought the monk, he directly completed the cultivation results that he had been unable to achieve for a thousand years."
"But the unsealing Beyond Bankai means that the Three Worlds are about to fall into turmoil, and every use of power Beyond Bankai may disrupt the stability of the world."
"Therefore, Soul King Soul King made a decision to consume most of the power in his body to strengthen the stability of the world. In this way, everyone can use their Beyond Bankai without worrying about the world being damaged."
"What's the price...?" Tsuna asked, his mouth full of rice.
This is definitely not a good thing. If it's something beneficial to the world, why hasn't the Soul King done it? He's a ruthless person who would sacrifice himself for the world.
"The price was that Soul King King's reinforcement of the world this time damaged Soul King King's very essence."
"Soul King King's time is running out. In less than twenty years, he will exhaust all his power and disappear into the world."
"Although Soul King has reinforced the world, his importance as a wedge remains. Once Soul King disappears, the entire Three Worlds will be destroyed."
"Cough cough cough..." Tsuna patted his chest. He regretted listening to Urahara while eating. Who tells you the world is about to end while you're eating? How could he possibly continue eating?
Hastily grabbing a bowl of miso soup and gulping it down, Tsuna asked, "So, what's the Soul King's backup plan?"
Given Soul King's character, he would never fight a battle unprepared; behind every seemingly inexplicable step he takes, there must be some consideration.
Urahara Kisuke remained silent, only staring intently at Tsuna. After a long while, he sighed and said, "Soul King has taken a gamble. Because of your appearance, Soul King has staked the future of the Three Worlds on us, under your leadership."
"Wait, that's a bit convoluted. Let me sort it out." Tsuna said uncertainly, "You mean, my appearance changed the Soul King's original plan, and he chose to entrust the safety of the world to us?"
"Me?" Tsuna pointed to his own nose. He was so powerful, how could he not know? Speaking of which, when did the Soul King change his plans? Could it be...?
Tsuna recalled the scene of being imprisoned by the Soul King in the Soul King Palace. The Soul King clearly had no intention of harming him, yet he restricted his movements.
At the time, Tsuna thought that the Soul King was going to help the Monk. Now that he thinks about it, perhaps it was at that moment that the Soul King used his the Almighty to see through his future.
This is the only explanation for why the Soul King suddenly changed his mind and started helping Tsuna. Tsuna couldn't help but wonder what the Soul King had seen that made him place his bets on them.
"Kisuke, do you mean the world's destruction is already on a countdown? We only have twenty years to find a solution to replace the Soul King?" Kyōraku said in disbelief, "No wonder, Master, you told me to order everyone to prepare for war."
There are only twenty years left. If the Bleach don't work hard, they might really bring about their own destruction. Although they don't know where to focus their efforts for now, it's still much better than waiting to die.
"Let me correct you, it's not twenty years, but less than twenty years," Urahara Kisuke said meticulously. "Because Soul King King's power is constantly being depleted. Who knows when, in order to protect the world, he might suddenly increase the output of his power, and the time limit will be shortened accordingly."
"This is really a big problem. Does Soul King have any other suggestions?" Kyōraku asked, unwilling to give up.
Urahara Kisuke slowly shook his head. He didn't plan to reveal for the time being that he had created two candidates for Soul King, as the true identities of Koume and Jinta might affect the motivation of the Bleach.
Furthermore, the effects of Koume and Jinta are only theoretical data, and Urahara doesn't know how long the final result can last. He can't very well let the Soul King catch his breath and have Koume sit on it for testing, can he? That would be suicidal.
So it's better for Urahara to conceal his research findings and make the Bleach feel more threatened. "No, Soul King only said that the future lies among us, including Sawada Tsunayoshi."
"The Soul King is really carefree. I didn't even know I was this powerful. Why didn't he put all his eggs in one basket?" Tsuna retorted to Urahara.
Urahara chuckled awkwardly but didn't reply. Tsuna knew the roles of Koume and Jinta, and he could probably guess the Soul King's thoughts. The artificial Soul King had limited uses and couldn't solve the problem of the world's instability.
"Alright, so what do we do next? Let me make this clear, as you all know, I fight only to go back to my peaceful life and stabilize the world. I don't have any other ambitions." Tsuna said helplessly, spreading his hands.
Urahara and the other two knew that the reason Tsuna was fighting wasn't even the Monk, but Yhwach had vowed to return the world to chaos.
After a moment of silence, Kyōraku scratched his head and sighed, "What a world beset by internal and external troubles, old man. Why don't you take over the position of Captain-Commander?"
The arrival of Little Billy from the West Bureau Seireitei that something was hidden in the shadows. Now, with the addition of the news of the Soul King's impending destruction of the world within 20 years, even Kyōraku couldn't help but want to make a move.
"The replacement of the Captain-Commander is no child's play!" Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto rebuked Kyōraku in a bad mood, but he didn't criticize him too much. Even he found the current situation troublesome.
"Do you think it's feasible for us to seal away the one in the shadows and make him the new Soul King?"
During the brief silence, Tsuna quickly reviewed his memories. In the end of the manga, Ichigo and Yhwach fought, and whoever lost became the Soul King. This might be a clue to solving the mystery.
To avoid Yhwach's abilities, Tsuna took a slightly roundabout approach, but everyone understood.
"You see, he is the Son of the Soul King, so it is only natural for him to inherit his father's position," Tsuna added.
Just when Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto and Kyōraku thought they had found a solution, Urahara poured cold water on their hopes.
"If that's the case, then it's simple. After all, we'll have to fight the Quincy sooner or later. But what I fear is that even if we find a new trigger, we still won't be able to stop the world's crisis."
"When Soul King transmitted the message, he specifically sent me a vision: the entire Three Worlds were being destroyed and swallowed up; the scene was like Hell."
"Hell?"
The moment the name Urahara Kisuke was mentioned, it immediately attracted the attention of the other three. In the world of Bleach, Hell is independent of the Three Worlds system, and even Bleach need to use a specific ritual to contact Hell.
"Why is this related to Hell again?" Kyōraku didn't believe Urahara would spout nonsense and use a word that made no sense.
"Reishi balance system?" Tsuna suddenly blurted out a term. "Under normal circumstances, Reishi in the Three Worlds circulate among themselves to maintain balance, right?"
"But when Bleach with high spiritual strength die, their bodies cannot decompose into Reishi normally, so Soul Society initiates special rituals to send their bodies to Hell, right?"
"Don't you think treating Hell like a dumping ground for waste is like discarding the Reishi that should be circulating throughout the Three Worlds?"
"That's true," Kyōraku said with a wry smile, "But if we don't do this, the residual spiritual pressure on the corpse will still affect Soul Society. This is already the best solution."
"So, Tsuna, you believe that the future crisis might come from Hell?" Urahara asked.
Tsuna rolled his eyes at Urahara. "You deliberately put the word ' Hell ' here, isn't that what you were thinking?"
"No way..." At this point, Urahara would open his small folding fan to cover his smiling face.
Tsuna wasn't making things up. If he remembered correctly, Kubo had drawn a sequel to Bleach, which was related to Hell. Unfortunately, it was only one or two chapters, and the specific crisis wasn't shown; it was just teasing.
"Anyway, Captain Kyōraku, oh no, Captain-Commander, you should write this down for now. There might be a problem with Hell," Tsuna said.
"Alright, alright," Kyōraku sighed helplessly. So many major events had occurred since he took office; was he truly destined to be a workaholic?
The four continued their conversation for a long time, but ultimately they had no good solution to the crisis the Soul King had mentioned. They could only take it one step at a time and decided that the priority should be strengthening themselves and improving their own strength.
Now that things have come to this, the four can only trust the Soul King's choice and believe that his so-called the Almighty have truly shown Soul King a future that satisfies him.
