History
Early life and the Way of Creation
Nüwa cultivated alongside her elder brother Fuxi at Mount Qixi. When Beiming first visited, Fuxi introduced her as his younger sister; she and Beiming formally exchanged greetings. 22
Her Dao is the Way of Creation, which she discussed with Fuxi and Beiming while considering the Primordial Wilderness’ future struggles. 24 Although she was connected to the Demon Race as its Wa Emperor and later supplied its command treasure, she personally disliked conflict and repeatedly avoided becoming deeply involved in struggles for supremacy. 27 156
At Mount Buzhou, Nüwa acquired the Refining Heaven Furnace and the Great Stone Transformation Technique. She used them to produce a Five-Colored Stone, sensing that it would one day serve an extraordinary purpose. 31
Shelter for the Phoenix Race
During the Wu Clan’s assault on the Undying Volcano, Nüwa and Beiming observed the Phoenix Race’s worsening position and intervened on its behalf. 108 112 Nüwa defeated Zhuogang, offered the surviving Phoenixes refuge around Mount Qixi, and opened the Mountains and Rivers State Chart for them to enter. 112
After returning to Mount Qixi, she settled the Phoenix Race and had them manage the displaced clans gathering around her territory. Jin Ning eventually served as her attendant and handled visitors to her residence. 179
Creating humanity and attaining sainthood
After discussing the consequences of Saints openly supporting an existing race, Nüwa reached enlightenment: rather than elevate one of the Ten Thousand Clans, she would create a new race capable of governing living beings and reducing conflict. 183
Nüwa and Beiming selected a peaceful, resource-rich region in eastern Honghuang for the Human Race’s first settlement. She combined Three Lights Divine Water and Nine Heavens’ Soil into clay, then infused it with the Creation Qi drawn through the Creation Spirit Staff. 186
She initially molded 3,000 humans by hand, then used the Primordial Gourd Vine to create another 126,600 humans. The first 3,000 were born at Golden Immortal Peak Stage, while the later humans were born at Golden Immortal Early Stage. 187 The merit of this act raised her to sainthood, making her the Human Race’s Saint Mother. 187
Following her ascension, she protected humanity with a Saint’s decree and later withdrew from its ordinary internal affairs, choosing not to serve as its clan leader. 187 190
Mending the heavens
After the collapse of Mount Buzhou damaged the heavens, Nüwa used the Refining Heaven Furnace to forge Five-Colored Stones while Beiming refined Heavenly Pillars. After eighty-one days, she embedded the stones into the sky and helped restore stability to heaven and earth. 294
The Heavenly Dao awarded Nüwa 40% of the merit generated by mending the heavens, the largest individual share. 294
Fuxi’s reincarnation and the Human Dao
Nüwa’s greatest long-term concern is Fuxi. After the Wu–Yao calamity, she accepted the Summoning Demon Banner from Di Jun, intending to use the remnants of the Demon Race as leverage for Fuxi’s future position. She also agreed to protect Di Jun’s youngest son, later known as Lu Ya. 287 288
She worked with Beiming to seek Fuxi’s future elevation as the Saint of the Human Dao and potential Heavenly Emperor. 288 306 To establish Fuxi as the foremost of the Three Sovereigns, she negotiated with Pingxin in the Underworld, accepted a karmic debt, and personally escorted Fuxi’s True Spirit into reincarnation. 341
To strengthen humanity for Fuxi’s eventual plans, Nüwa later created another batch of Innate Humans within the Mountains and Rivers State Chart. She supplied them with cultivation resources and the Mysterious Pivot Five Qi Scripture, keeping them hidden until they could enter the greater Human Race. 342 424
Later Saint-era schemes
Nüwa generally remains detached from sect administration, but she becomes an active political force when Fuxi’s future or the Human Race’s position is at stake. She formed agreements with Beiming and Jieyin, offered Mount Qixi personnel to support the Western Religion during the Investiture of the Gods tribulation, and received Jieyin’s backing for Fuxi as Heavenly Emperor. 461
She prepared her own forces for the Investiture of the Gods, including Kong Xuan and Lu Ya. 462 564 When Haotian lost the position of Heavenly Emperor, Nüwa urged the Three Sovereigns to pursue the vacancy through the Human Race’s accumulated merit and destiny rather than conquest. 564

She is generous toward trusted companions: she gave Beiming a Five-Colored Stone, lent him the Creation Spirit Staff without hesitation, and promised to protect Ling Yan if Beiming failed in his attempt to prove the Dao. 31 157 462
