Background / History
The Twelve Ancestor Wizards used Pangu’s Heart and the Blood Pool within Pangu Hall to continuously birth Wu Clan members, then departed Mount Buzhou to establish tribes in every direction. Their stated ambition was to inherit Pangu’s legacy and become the masters of Honghuang. 15
The clan’s early expansion made it a threat to the Ten Thousand Clans. Its immense demand for blood food and violent conquests drove weaker groups to flee or seek protectors, while Di Jun and Tai Yi gained support by obstructing Wu Clan attacks and covering evacuations. 14 21 35 49
After securing practical control over much of the Honghuang Continent, the Wu Clan formally established itself. It declared Pangu its sole Father God, vowed to protect Honghuang and suppress injustice, and received merit for helping impose order despite not revering the Heavenly Dao. 66
The Wu Clan later expanded into the Four Seas, attacked the Immortal Court, and prepared to eliminate the Demon Race. Its conflict with the Demon Race escalated into the Wu–Demon war, during which the Twelve Ancestor Wizards employed the Twelve Divine Fiends Great Array to manifest Pangu’s True Body. Hongjun halted the first major war and imposed a truce. 96 133 142 143
During the later protracted conflict, the clan sustained itself through warfare and incorporated captured humans into Human-Wu auxiliary forces. These hybrids were treated as inferior to orthodox Wu and used as battlefield cannon fodder, ultimately weakening the clan’s fortune. 209 212
The decisive Wu–Demon battle devastated both sides. Eleven of the Twelve Ancestor Wizards fell; Houtu transformed into reincarnation and was no longer considered part of the Wu Clan. The remaining clan withdrew to the remnant veins of Mount Buzhou and Pangu Hall. 19 378
With Ju Mang overseeing its remnants, the Wu Clan later refused Chiyou’s request for military backing in his bid for the Human Emperor position, though it permitted him to cultivate in Pangu’s Blood Pool. 378
When foreign forces from Outer Chaos invaded the Primordial Wilderness, Ju Mang led the clan out of seclusion. The Wu Clan became the first reinforcements to reach the Western Land. 584

Culture and Ideology
- Claims the title of Orthodox Lineage of Pangu and regards itself as Pangu’s rightful bloodline and the legitimate ruler of Honghuang. 15 66
- Worships Pangu alone; it does not worship the Heavenly Dao or revere Hongjun. 66
- Cultivates no Primordial Spirit, focusing instead on tempering the Physical Body and comprehending Laws. 24 66
- Places exceptional importance on unity, bloodline, battle, and territorial rule. 24 172
- Settles disputes through strength; this principle applies both to outsiders and internally. 15
- Maintains an independent culture and its own Wu script, and resists adopting outsider-created systems such as Immortal Script. 172 191
- Its leadership distinguishes conquest from indiscriminate extermination, although individual tribes and Ancestor Wizards frequently employ massacre, plunder, and blood food against resisting clans. 29 46 49
Abilities & Military Strength
Physical Body Cultivation
Wu Clan members do not cultivate Primordial Spirits. Their combat power relies on formidable physical bodies and mastery of Laws. 24 66
- Ordinary Great Beings without powerful protective treasures struggle to contend with Ancestor Wizards. 24
- Blood food and continual combat are used to temper younger members’ bodies and build battlefield experience. 209
- Their lack of population is a strategic weakness: even highly favorable casualty exchanges can still benefit their more numerous enemies. 96
Law Mastery
The Ancestor Wizards command diverse Laws, including Wood, Space, Time, Wind, Fire, Lightning, Earth, and more. 15 35 114 251
- Di Jiang uses Space Laws and established spatial formations across Wu territories for rapid reinforcement. 114
- Ju Mang uses the Law of Wood in both combat support and large-scale transport. 173 584
- Tai Kun was transformed in Pangu’s Blood Pool to strengthen his understanding of the Law of Earth and replace Houtu in the great array. 251
Twelve Divine Fiends Great Array
The clan’s ultimate formation, jointly deployed by the Twelve Ancestor Wizards. 133 176
- Condenses Pangu’s True Body, granting Saint-level combat power. 24
- Can manifest the phantom of the Heaven-Opening Axe. 212
- Was intended to break the Chaos Bell’s defense before annihilating the Demon Race. 133 134
- Pangu’s True Body severely injured Di Jun, Tai Yi, and Fuxi, but Hongjun defeated it and ended the battle. 142 143
- The formation is not lightly used, even against Bei Ming, due to its status as the clan’s decisive trump card. 176
Pangu’s Heart and Blood Pool
Pangu’s Heart and the Blood Pool in Pangu Hall formed the foundation of the clan’s growth. 15
- Originally enabled the continuous birth of Wu Clan members of different ranks. 15
- The Blood Pool later enhanced Tai Kun and supported Chiyou’s cultivation and comprehension. 251 378
- By Chiyou’s era, it could no longer produce new Great Wizards. 378

- Human-Wu / Renwu — Mixed descendants of humans and Wu; used as auxiliaries and later abandoned after the clan retreated into seclusion. 212 378

Trivia
- Ju Mang’s proud description of Bei Ming as a Daoist friend caused rumors about the Wu Clan’s “fellow Daoist” to spread across half of Honghuang. 21
- The clan’s early declaration that its airspace could not be trespassed reflects its expansive view that Honghuang would eventually belong to the Wu Clan. 15
- The Wu Clan’s core weakness is its limited population, despite the individual strength of its warriors. 96
- After the calamity, Ju Mang became the effective leader because he was considered steadier than several other Ancestor Wizards and was left behind to manage the clan’s remaining affairs. 378 600
