Water Release: Twin Water Tornado!

For becoming one of Luffy's partners, Xi Yan didn't have much resistance to the idea.

Back when he watched this anime, he already liked these guys quite a bit.

Now that he'd run into them, how could he not take this journey together, right?

Besides... sticking with the protagonist meant he probably wouldn't get killed off, right? This world didn't have any need for sacrificing something to unlock a Mangekyo or anything like that.

"You agreed just like that?" Barry said. "Shouldn't you think it over a bit?"

Joining a pirate crew... wasn't that too rash?

"What's there to think about?"

"Do you even know who they are?"

"I do." Xi Yan nodded. "I've been following the newspapers."

"The Straw Hat Pirates, right?"

At that, Zoro's gaze sharpened again.

"Are you deliberately looking for us?"

"Are you crazy?" Xi Yan shot back. "I'd have to be insane to chase down a train on the sea like this."

He had no idea this world had trains that could run on the ocean, okay?

But since Luffy had already invited Xi Yan to join their Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro didn't mind giving him some initial trust.

Still, he'd keep an eye on Xi Yan, just like when Nico Robin first joined them.

He couldn't help being cautious—the situation right now was way too special.

"It's a Sea Train," Koko Luo Po Po corrected.

"Oh, so it's a Sea Train." Xi Yan realized. A train that runs on the sea, so they call it a Sea Train—makes sense.

"Anyway, from now on, Xi Yan is our partner!" Luffy declared. "Too bad we can't throw a party—we'll have to wait until we save Robin to do that."

Normally, a new partner joining meant a celebration, but their current situation obviously didn't allow it.

"Save Robin?" Xi Yan frowned. "What happened?"

Come to think of it, he hadn't seen Sanji or Usopp, and they weren't sailing on the Going Merry either—instead, they were on this unfamiliar Sea Train.

"I'll explain," Nami said.

The word "fear" wasn't in Xi Yan's dictionary.

Seeing that Xi Yan wasn't scared at all—in fact, he looked excited—Nami paused, then smiled.

Looks like this new partner... wasn't half bad.

Barry's mouth twitched, and for a moment, he didn't know what to say.

These lawless lunatics were about to attack Judicial Island, and this new guy, after hearing about it, wasn't afraid—he was pumped.

Sure enough, anyone who joined the Straw Hat Pirates couldn't be normal.

"If only we could catch up before they reach Judicial Island," Nami said.

"That's right." Chopper said firmly. "No matter what happens, we're getting Robin back!"

This time, they were charging into battle ready to die—no way they'd back down.

"Let me check on Sanji's side." Nami said.

It had been a while since Sanji and the others set out; she had no idea how things were going over there.

"Granny!!" Kimone, peering out the window, said. "The Gods of Water are here."

"Finally here, huh." Koko Luo Po Po calmly took a swig from her bottle, looking like she'd expected this all along.

She knew full well the Gods of Water would eventually crash into them.

As for how to get past it?

That wasn't her problem—she was just the driver.

Nami curiously stuck her head out to look, and her pupils shrank. "Th-That's a huge tsunami!!"

Staring at the terrifying wave drawing closer, Nami's face turned deathly pale.

At this speed, slamming into that tsunami—even without knowing much about the Sea Train's specifics—she could picture it clearly.

They were dead for sure!!

"Koko Luo Po Po, think of something!" Nami shouted frantically.

"No can do." Koko Luo Po Po said calmly. "I told you, once the Rocket Man hits the Sea Track, it can't stop. Even I can't change that."

After speaking, she took another glug of booze, looking like a total drunkard, making Xi Yan's eye twitch.

Was this old lady even reliable?

"Then what do we do?"

Nami was at a loss. The Sea Train driver was useless—what were they supposed to do?

If they didn't deal with the tsunami outside, the Rocket Man would break apart on impact, and everyone would be dead.

Barry and Zanbai, who'd just struck a deal with Luffy, exchanged a glance, then said, "Leave it to us!"

With that, the two led their men away.

Xi Yan curiously poked his head out to look at the massive tsunami closing in. "Whoa, not small."

"Can you handle it?!" Nami looked at Xi Yan with hopeful eyes.

"Let them try first." Xi Yan pointed upward. "They said they'd take care of it, so no need to steal their thunder."

If they really couldn't manage, he'd step in—there was still time.

"So you really do have a way?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm, okay."

Nami nodded, then calmly pulled out a Den Den Mushi to contact Sanji.

Her demeanor showed complete trust in Xi Yan, which caught him a bit off guard.

"Fire the cannon! Let the so-called Gods of Water see the power of the Galley-La Company!"

"Ooh!"

Dailustong aimed his cannon at the distant tsunami and fired.

The others followed suit, launching their shells.

But sadly, the cannonballs only kicked up some Water Splash on the tsunami, not even making a decent dent.

"No good, the shells are too weak." Barry said, his face grim.

"Leave it to the Franky Family!" Zanbai shouted. "Hand it over to our special cannon!"

"Target, the Gods of Water!"

"Fire the cannon!"

"Boom!!"

Watching the massive barrel, Xi Yan remarked, "Now that's a cannon."

The bore was big enough for a person to crawl into.

His eyes followed the shell until it hit the tsunami.

Still just splashing water.

"Guess that's a no-go." Xi Yan shook his head. "I'll handle it."

He'd thought those guys might pull off something flashy, but all they did was try to blast the tsunami apart with cannons.

And the worst part? That cannon looked intimidating, but its actual power was just so-so.

"Oh, leave it to me, Xi Yan." Luffy nodded, speaking calmly.

At that moment, Luffy sat relaxed on the ground, showing no sign of getting up.

Clearly, Luffy believed Xi Yan could handle it.

By now, he had fully entrusted his life to Xi Yan's hands—if Xi Yan failed, they'd all die together.

This trust from Luffy made Xi Yan pause for a moment, then he said, "Don't worry, leave it to me."

After saying that, Xi Yan grabbed the window frame and leaped out, landing on top of Rocket Man.

"Ninja Bro, you're out." Barry glanced at Xi Yan, then kept pulling the cannon's trigger as he added, "Got a way to deal with this?"

Though they'd been firing the cannon hard, it was useless—they couldn't even punch a hole through this massive tsunami.

"We're out of options." Zanbai said with a grim expression.

Earlier, down below, he'd mentioned that cramped spaces made it impossible to use ninjutsu.

After saying that, Xi Yan looked ahead at the towering tsunami and called out, "Hey, Luffy, didn't you want to see my ninjutsu?"

"I'll show you now—watch closely!"

With that, Xi Yan clapped his hands together and began channeling his ninjutsu.

The sea surface started to tremble, churning up even larger waves, as if some terrifying beast was about to burst forth.

The next moment, two colossal water dragons erupted from either side of the Sea Train, roaring as they charged toward the distant tsunami!

"Water Release: Twin Water Tornado!!"

The two massive water dragons began to converge and spin together, finally slamming violently into the water's surface.

"BOOM!!"

The immense force blasted a gigantic hole straight through the Gods of Water!

"It... broke through?!!!"
