Background / History

Tsunade was raised in an exceptionally influential family: her grandmother was Uzumaki Mito, while Senju Tobirama was her “Second Grandfather.” As a child, she developed a gambling habit severe enough that her family cut off her allowance, earning her the reputation of a “Casino Fat Sheep.” 4 98 148

She attended the Ninja Academy alongside Kagura, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru. Initially hostile toward Kagura because he was an Uchiha, she frequently provoked him, but the four were ultimately placed on Hiruzen Sarutobi’s four-member Team 7.
