Background / History

The Human Race was created by Nuwa and had existed for only several million years when its rise began. Its members generally possessed shallow roots and struggled to cultivate, but their unmatched reproductive capacity gave the race an immense population base. Suiren Shi, Youchao Shi, and Ziyi Shi preserved its earliest civilization by teaching fire, shelter, and clothing. 20 35 39

Before receiving a cultivation inheritance, humanity was scattered across the Great Wilderness and vulnerable to the Demon Race's predation. Demon forces slaughtered tribes for blood and sought to refine human blood into a weapon capable of restraining the Witch Clan's physical bodies. 33 35

Xuandu returned to the East Sea Coast as a Jie Sect Personal Disciple and proposed bringing humanity under the Jie Sect's protection. The Three Ancestors accepted his proposal, and billions of humans later became Xuandu's disciples during the Demon Race's blockade of the East Sea Coast. 35 38 39

After protecting the race from the Demon Court, Xuandu established the Martial Dao as a self-strengthening path and erected the Martial Dao Heavenly Stele as its permanent inheritance.
