Background / History

Bulma is the second daughter of Capsule Corp and a self-described genius scientist. Before meeting Sun Mo, she researched ancient records on the Dragon Balls, developed a radar to locate them, and set out during summer break to gather all seven for a wish. Her original wish was to obtain a perfect boyfriend. 4 6

She encounters Sun Mo and Son Goku at Mount Paozu while searching for the next Dragon Ball. After Goku stops her car and survives her gunfire, Bulma immediately becomes interested in Sun Mo and asks whether he has a girlfriend. She convinces Sun Mo and Goku to join her journey. 4 6
