After leaving Namikaze Minato's house, Hanfu found himself with a little tagalong.
Naruto walked behind Hanfu with his hands behind his head, his feet pattering over the snow. He ambled along, looking around now and then. After a while, he realized something was wrong and hurriedly grabbed Hanfu. "Teacher Hanfu, this isn't the way to Ichiraku Ramen!"
"That's right. This is the way to kindergarten..." Hanfu explained with a straight face. "Naruto, it's only ten. It's a bit early to have lunch now."
Naruto refused to back down and argued, "But by the time we get to Ichiraku Ramen, it'll be ten-thirty. Uncle Teuchi will have the ramen ready right around lunchtime! Teacher Hanfu, you're not planning to welch on me, are you? I cleared the snow off an entire street!"

The Fourth Hokage's parenting was strict indeed.
Hanfu sighed. "Since you worked so hard, all right."
Hanfu turned toward Ichiraku Ramen.
They hadn't gone far when a group of cats blocked their way—or, more accurately, someone with a group of cats blocked their way.
"Happy New Year, Kakashi-senpai," Hanfu greeted him with a smile.
The only person in Konoha who'd wander around blocking people with a group of stray cats was Kakashi.
"I need to talk to you." Kakashi put away Make-Out Tactics and looked at Hanfu listlessly.
"Teacher Hanfu, that guy's weird..." Naruto hid behind Hanfu, his eyes darting between Kakashi and the stray cats.
Hanfu's eyes shifted as he introduced them. "Naruto, this is your big brother, Kakashi!"
Naruto?
Teacher?
Big brother?
Kakashi furrowed his brow slightly and reflexively made small talk. "Naruto's gotten so big."
Naruto eyed Kakashi suspiciously. "Do you know me?"
"Of course. I even held you when you were little." Kakashi's attention had been diverted. With
