"BOOM!"
With a thunderous crash, a giant beast plummeted from the sky, slamming into the ground and leaving behind a massive, human-shaped crater. The beast inside the crater fell unconscious, and as its body began to shrink, the figure of Raditz finally emerged.
Turles landed on the edge of the crater, frowning as he looked down at Raditz, who had already reverted to his base form.
"Where exactly did it go wrong?" Turles muttered to himself.
After the camp was basically established, Turles had immediately dragged Raditz into experiments regarding the Great Ape Power. Despite having run the experiment several times, other than successfully triggering Raditz's transformation, Turles still had no clue how to actually harness the Great Ape Power itself.
Glancing at Raditz, who had woken up and was trying to sneak away, Turles fell back into deep thought.
"The direction should be correct. The root of a Saiyan's power lies in the tail. I've stimulated every other part of the body, and only the tail causes cellular mutation upon stimulation. If the direction is right, then the method must be the problem."
"I'm using spiritual energy to stimulate the tail, so why hasn't Raditz felt the presence of that Great Ape Deity? Is it my problem, or is it Raditz's? Could it really have been a hallucination I had back then?"
"No, it couldn't have been a hallucination!"
"That figure was so clear. There's no way a Great Ape would have suddenly appeared in my mind like that. There must be something I'm overlooking. Where could it be?"
The more Turles thought, the more confused he became. Irritated, he couldn't help but fire a Ki Blast, which struck Raditz just as he was stealthily crawling out of the crater.
"Boss! Give me a break!" Once discovered, Raditz didn't lose heart. After blocking the Ki Blast, he jumped up, covered the distance to Turles in a few strides, and threw himself onto his knees, hugging Turles's thigh.
"Boss, I really can't take it anymore! Have some mercy on me, please let me go!" Raditz's voice was so pathetic that anyone hearing it would be moved to tears; one would think he was being severely bullied.
Looking down at Raditz, who was hugging his leg and wiping snot and tears all over it, Turles felt his eyelid twitch. He kicked the clown away with a single motion.
"Get lost!" Before Raditz could even show a glimmer of joy, Turles added, "We continue tomorrow!"
Raditz's face instantly fell. Dragging his body, he trudged toward the camp like a walking corpse.
Watching Raditz leave, Turles shook his head, feeling that his subordinate was failing to live up to his expectations. Even though his combat power had increased significantly after training with him, that "grieving for his parents" look he wore every time really got on Turles's nerves.
Ignoring the ungrateful idiot, Turles returned to his previous line of thought.
In his ideal scenario, he would be able to draw upon the augmentation of the Great Ape Power without triggering the cellular mutation that forced a transformation into a Great Ape. It would be like a Super Saiyan 4 transformation, only without the need to become a Golden Great Ape first. But as it stood, his idea seemed a bit naive, as the Great Ape Power only had two states: suppressed or released—at least, that was the case with his current level of strength.
After a moment's hesitation, Turles extended his right hand. He projected his Ki outward into his palm, simulating the frequency of Blutz Waves from a full moon. Once he reached a frequency of 17 million, the ball of light in his hand expanded rapidly, soon growing to the size of a basketball.
He gently sent this Artificial Moon into the air, careful not to place it too high. If Broly were to see it, the consequences would be unimaginable!
Under the irradiation of the Blutz Waves, his tail was stimulated, and Turles once again felt that violent urge surging within him as his body began to undergo changes.
Turles stared fixedly at the Artificial Moon in the sky, gritting his teeth as he tried his best to suppress the transformation. It was incredibly difficult; his will was locked in a battle against his body's instincts, and sometimes, those instincts were simply uncontrollable.
"ROAR!"
Suddenly, Turles's eyes bulged. He could no longer hold it back and let out a furious roar. His body's instincts completely overwhelmed his will, and he began to transform into his Great Ape form.
Soon, a giant ape dozens of meters tall appeared on the spot. As soon as the transformation was complete, the giant ape roared toward the sky, energy beams beginning to condense in its ferocious maw and firing continuously in all directions.
On the other side, Broly, who was helping to organize the camp, suddenly stood up. He looked toward Turles's direction with a solemn expression, then dropped the giant log in his hands, shot straight into the sky, and flew toward Turles.
Flying through the air, Broly saw the rampaging Turles from a great distance. He accelerated his body and rushed directly in front of him.
Staring solemnly at the giant ape, Broly realized that Turles's strength had improved since his last transformation. His current combat power had reached 1 million, a level that even he had to handle with caution.
Just as Broly was about to condense a Destructo Disc, Turles's voice came from the giant ape's mouth.
"Broly, I still have my consciousness! Leave immediately, and remember, don't look at the sky!"
Hearing Turles's words, Broly first breathed a sigh of relief, then subconsciously went to look up at the sky. Realizing something was wrong, he tried to stop himself, but it was already too late. Even though Broly wanted to lower his head, the Artificial Moon in the sky was like a magnet, firmly drawing his gaze.
Turles, who had regained his consciousness some time ago, saw Broly's movement and cursed inwardly, immediately rushing toward Broly's tail.
"ROAR!"
With another roar, a second giant ape appeared on the scene. As Turles rushed in front of Broly and reached out to grab his tail, a black shadow appeared before his eyes, slamming directly into his face. After a sharp, stinging pain, Turles's massive body was sent flying backward.
"Damn it!" Turles couldn't help but curse as he flew backward.
Stabilizing his body, Turles looked at Broly's physique, which was even larger than his own. He couldn't help but complain internally. Sure enough, whether in reality or in novels, the things you least want to happen are exactly what occur—and reality is often more magical than fiction.
Looking at the even more berserk Broly, Turles wasn't surprised at all. Even he hadn't been able to maintain his sanity during his first transformation, let alone Broly, whose mental state was already extremely unstable.
That's right; unlike the last transformation, Turles had regained his sanity shortly after the initial outburst of energy. Everything afterward had just been him venting his inner frustration. After all, this transformation hadn't helped him find a way to control the Great Ape Power, but he had forgotten that Broly could sense his Ki.
Turles raised his hand and fired a Ki Blast, shattering the Artificial Moon in the sky, then continued to observe Broly's condition.
Soon, Turles discovered the difference between Broly and both himself and Raditz.
Broly's transformation was much more thorough; both his size and the increase in combat power after transforming were far greater than the changes the other two had experienced.
According to Turles's estimate, Broly's current combat power had reached the tens of millions, yet Broly's base combat power was not even 1 million. This meant that the multiplier of Broly's transformation was greater than ten times.
Could it be that the Legendary Super Saiyan is truly a cheater? Who exactly is the protagonist here!
Turles couldn't help but grind his teeth. He admitted he was a bit jealous. With Broly's current combat power, if he weren't so uncontrollable, he would have wanted to take Broly to find Frieza and stir up some trouble!
The more he thought about it, the more depressed Turles became. He stood there in a daze, not noticing that Broly's gaze had already shifted toward him. After all, he was the only living thing in the vicinity, and he was so incredibly large.
A chill brought Turles's wandering thoughts back to reality. He looked up, met Broly's blood-red pupils, and the fur on his body stood on end.
"Not good!"
Realizing this, Turles finally understood his current predicament and fled in the direction away from the camp without hesitation.
"ROAR!"
Seeing Turles flee, the Great Ape Broly let out another roar, and a terrifying energy beam shot toward Turles's back.
Sensing the energy fluctuation behind him, Turles twisted his body violently. The energy beam missed him by a hair's breadth. Not daring to be careless, Turles continued to charge forward.
Turles was now in a dilemma. While the transformation had granted him a tenfold increase in power, it had also enlarged his size, inevitably impacting his speed and agility.
However, he dared not sever his tail. If he could still manage to save his life under Broly's attacks now, the moment he cut off his tail and returned to his original form, he would not only suffer a period of weakness, but it was also questionable whether he could even remain calm with a Battle Power of 100,000 in the face of an opponent with a Battle Power in the tens of millions.
Narrowly dodging another energy blast, Turles felt a sense of relief. Fortunately, after losing his sanity, Broly was left with nothing but instinct and had even forgotten how to fly; otherwise, his situation would be even more perilous.
But this couldn't go on. Although the Artificial Moon had already been destroyed, there was still half an hour left before the transformation ended, and he had to ensure he wouldn't be killed by Broly during that time.
Turles kept dodging the Great Ape Broly's attacks, which only made the already berserk Broly even more irritable.
With a fierce gaze locked onto Turles, Broly's massive body began to slowly lift off the ground. At first, it was just a little, but then his entire body rose higher and higher. Soon, Broly's beastly instincts had regained the ability to fly.
Turles had just been congratulating himself on Broly stopping his attacks when he glanced back inadvertently, nearly scaring himself into falling out of the sky.
"What the hell!"
