Obsidian Planet Council.

"Everyone's read the information on that Saiyan, right?"

The speaker was a Star Race member over two meters tall, with translucent dark-blue skin that shimmered with flickering points of light.

Turles's rampage after transforming into a Great Ape had inevitably caught the attention of those with an eye for such things—including the Obsidian Planet Council, the planet's highest governing body. The speaker was Savila, the current council chairman!

Obsidian Planet was protected by the three great powers of the universe, so its highest governing body was naturally made up of representatives from all three as well. The chairmanship rotated among the three factions. There were also two vice-chairmen, candidates for the next council chairman, and beneath them sat dozens of councilors. Some came from powerful races across the universe, while others represented Obsidian Planet's local business community. Together, they managed this enormous treasure trove of a planet!

"Good grief! A battle power of 850,000! How many years has it been since we saw such a powerful individual? A Saiyan? Weren't they wiped out by Frieza? How did someone this strong suddenly show up?" exclaimed a powerful member of the Lava Race, sparks flickering across his body.

"That's right! The last time I remember was over three hundred years ago. That battle nearly destroyed Obsidian Planet. A powerhouse like this can bring destruction with the slightest movement!" An old member of the Shadow Assassin Race also sighed with a strange air of nostalgia.

"What's the matter, old man? Starting to get scared?" a member of the Three-Eyed Race, with an extra eye growing from his forehead, taunted.

Someone nearby couldn't stand the Three-Eyed Race's arrogance and said sarcastically, "Young man, don't get too cocky!"

The Three-Eyed Race member wasn't intimidated. He shot back, "If I'm not cocky, am I still young?"

"Say that again!"

"Afraid of you? So what if I say it again? Want to fight?"

"..." The room gradually descended into chaos.

The three top officials seated at the head of the council watched the ruckus below with impassive faces. They were long used to it. The vice-chairman representing the Galactic Patrol turned to the other two and said, "Savila, this Saiyan has already been recruited by your Mercenary Alliance. What's your plan?"

"Yes! Bels really got lucky, recruiting such a powerhouse. Looks like a promotion is in his future!" the Commercial Alliance representative added approvingly.

Savila couldn't help the corners of his mouth from lifting. "Don't worry. Bels has already chosen a planet, and he'll send that Saiyan away from Obsidian Planet soon. This incident was just an accident. It won't happen again!"

"Is that so? That's wonderful! I mean, what a shame. We haven't had a chance to get to know this Saiyan yet!"

"Exactly, exactly!"

Seeing how insincere the two looked, Savila—who was in a good mood—didn't take offense. He simply shook his head and continued watching the heated argument below.

Turles had no idea that Obsidian Planet's leaders were already figuring out how to get him off the planet as quickly as possible. Even if he had known, he wouldn't have cared; he'd never planned to stay on Obsidian Planet forever.

He was very pleased with Bels's efficiency. He hadn't expected him to find a planet so quickly. At last, they had a place to settle down.

Red Stone Planet was the world the Mercenary Alliance had selected for Turles. It was a young, unclaimed planet in the western part of the galactic center. It was named for its red geology and was one of the habitable planets under the Mercenary Alliance's jurisdiction.

As Paragus looked at the planet's image in the projection, his heart swelled with excitement. This was a planet for the Saiyans—and for him, too, of course. But he wouldn't dare say that aloud.

Turles was also captivated by the beautiful planet, but he remembered the conditions he'd set. He quickly composed himself and looked toward Betis.

As the one in charge of the Obsidian Planet Mercenary Arena, Bels was naturally good at reading people. One look at Turles's expression was enough for him to understand. He nodded slightly, tapped away on the tablet in his hand, then passed it to Turles.

Taking the tablet, Turles skimmed the various terms and scrolled to the bottom. When he saw the Cosmic Mercenary Alliance's seal, he nodded with satisfaction and thanked Bels again, praising his competence.

After Bels left, Turles and the others eagerly began discussing when to head to Red Stone Planet. Before that, though, they had to decide on its new name.

Turles and Broly had no opinions on the matter. Paragus and Raditz were the only two who started arguing over the planet's name.

"Planet Paragus!" Paragus declared first, making no effort to hide his ambition.

"No way!" The one objecting wasn't Turles, but Raditz, the weakest fighter among the four!

Seeing that Turles hadn't objected, Raditz had jumped in first. Paragus glared at him furiously.

Raditz was a little scared, but he still held his ground against Paragus's fury and firmly rejected the suggestion.

Of course, Paragus wanted the planet named after himself. But Raditz was unusually stubborn this time. He wasn't even deterred by Paragus's threat to make him train harder, and insisted on fighting the idea. Turles couldn't help wondering why.

Curious, Turles asked, "Raditz, what do you have in mind?"

When Raditz heard Turles ask, he puffed out his chest and replied as if it were obvious, "Since Turles is the strongest of the four of us Saiyans, the planet should naturally be called Planet Turles!"

The name drew different reactions from everyone. Paragus's expression darkened, though he soon recovered. Even Broly could tell his smile was strained.

Turles, meanwhile, was so embarrassed he wanted to crawl under the floor. He shot the clown a glare, then rejected Raditz's suggestion outright.

Turles gave Paragus a long look, then turned to Broly. "Broly, what do you think?"

Broly hadn't expected Turles to ask him. He was stunned for a moment, then smiled and replied, "You decide, Turles. Whatever name you come up with is bound to sound great!"

Everyone nearly collapsed at Broly's answer. Paragus was so frustrated he wanted to bang his head against a wall. He was starting to wonder if he could even call this his son anymore.

Turles knew Broly had always trusted him as his only friend, but he hadn't expected Broly to trust him so completely even over something like this. It left Turles touched and exasperated. Still, it was good to have someone's trust—especially when that someone was your friend.

Turles had no particular interest in naming the planet, and he wasn't about to compete with Paragus over it. So he left Paragus and Raditz to keep discussing it and went off with Broly.

In the end, the two still couldn't come up with a good suggestion. They had no choice but to put it aside until they'd surveyed Red Stone Planet in person. They did quickly agree on when to leave, though: three days later.

Three days passed in a flash!

After confirming the arrangements for the Hyperspace Spaceship with Bels, Turles took the contact information Bels had given him, left Obsidian Planet, and set off for Red Stone Planet.

Red Stone Planet wasn't very far from Obsidian Planet. In less than a week, Turles and the others' spaceship reached the planet's outer space.

Red Stone Planet certainly lived up to its name. From the spaceship, the entire world looked like a red gem set against the darkness, and it stood out brilliantly!

"It really looks like it," Raditz murmured suddenly.

Raditz's voice brought the others out of their daze.

"Looks like what?" Turles asked.

"He means Planet Vegeta. Like Red Stone Planet, Planet Vegeta looked red from space, and its terrain was red too. That's why Raditz said it looks like it." Paragus spoke with a hint of melancholy.

"Is that so?" Turles had no memories of Planet Vegeta. Like Son Goku, he'd been exiled as an infant.

Still, he could understand how Raditz and Paragus felt. It had been their homeworld, after all. Even though Saiyans were relatively unemotional, being able to continue their race on a planet resembling their homeworld was undeniably fortunate.

Putting those thoughts aside, Turles ordered the spaceship to begin its descent!

The moment he set foot on the ground, Turles regretted it a little. He should've had Bels build some basic structures on the planet first. He hadn't expected it to be so desolate—not a trace of civilization anywhere. It was completely untamed.

With no other choice, Turles and the others began the hard work of developing the planet. Fortunately, their battle powers put them in a league of their own here, and the various wild beasts were little more than extra meals. In less than two days, they'd built a camp, and Turles began trying to master the Great Ape Power through training.
