Not only Paragus, but even Raditz and Broly were shocked by Turles's words. They hadn't expected Turles to harbor such an absurd and wild idea.

Indeed, none of the three believed that gods existed in this world, especially not immortal ones.

In Saiyan legend, even the faith of all Saiyans—the Super Saiyan—was merely a powerful warrior, possessing no traits of immortality.

Moreover, Saiyans had always been interested in combat; as for immortality or gods, they didn't exactly scoff at the concepts, but they certainly had little interest in them.

Seeing that the others were skeptical, Turles, who had rarely found something this interesting, began to explain to the three of them.

"Gods do exist in this world. And these gods are not only powerful, but their lifespans are incredibly long—so long that they could spend their time lying on the ground counting every blade of grass."

"First, there are the indigenous gods of planets that are often mentioned. These gods are either revered as deities because they are worshipped, or they have become gods after passing divine trials. While these gods may not possess immense combat power, they often wield miraculous abilities, whether it be healing or mental interference."

"However, even with these strange abilities, these gods are ultimately mortal. They have not broken through the limitations of life and will eventually face death."

"Above these gods are the four Kais of our current universe."

"Kais?"

Paragus suddenly interrupted Turles, his expression turning reminiscent. "I think I've heard that name before."

"Oh? You've heard the name of a Kai?"

"Clap!" Paragus clapped his hands together, suddenly realizing, "Right, I remember now!"

"When the Saiyans were still wandering the universe, we once invaded a planet that had legends of a Kai. It seems it was that Kai who stepped in to drive the Saiyans away at the time. One of the Saiyans back then recorded the event, and I was lucky enough to see it. I never expected that Kais were actually real."

Turles hadn't expected the Saiyans to have had an encounter with a Kai so early on. He didn't know which Kai it was, though it likely wasn't King Kai; King Kai wouldn't even pay much attention if the Earth were destroyed, otherwise, Future Trunks wouldn't have needed to take a time machine to a parallel timeline to find Son Goku and the others.

Turles asked with interest, "Did that record mention what color that Kai's skin was?"

"???" Paragus was surprised. "Are you saying those Kais have different skin colors? Are they not all the same race?"

Hearing Paragus's question, Turles had no choice but to continue. "Not exactly. These Kais seem to belong to a race called Core People. Furthermore, this race seems to grow from fruit. I don't know the specifics myself."

"Core People? And they grow from fruit? What a strange race."

"Hmm! Speaking of Kais, I have to mention the strength of these four. Although these Kais only have a combat power of a few thousand, they can travel between the living world and the Other World, allowing them to recruit experts from the afterlife."

"These experts might have combat powers in the tens of thousands, or even hundreds of millions. Because these Kais have existed for a very long time and have witnessed the rise and fall of planets, each one is a master-level martial artist. They might even have some special techniques they developed themselves."

"Wait! The Other World—Turles, you just mentioned the Other World. Does that mean we really have souls after we die? And how do you know all of this?"

Hearing this, Paragus could no longer hold back. He felt that Turles was talking pure nonsense. If he hadn't truly seen the records left behind by the Saiyans, he probably wouldn't have been able to tolerate it for this long. He never expected that even the Other World would be brought into the conversation.

Turles did not immediately refute Paragus's objection. Instead, he looked at him with a smile and countered, "Paragus, how can you be so sure that the Other World doesn't exist?"

"This..." Paragus was stumped by the question.

"Not only does the Other World exist, but there is also King Yemma, who is specifically responsible for judging souls that have just passed away. If a person has accumulated significant merit, they can not only go to Heaven but also retain their physical body to continue living and training in the Other World. Many of the experts in the Other World came to be that way."

Seeing that Paragus wanted to ask more, Turles interrupted him directly, "Are you still listening or not? Can't you wait until I'm finished? Right, where was I? Oh, the four Kai."

"Our universe is managed by four Kai—North, South, East, and West. The region we were in previously belongs to the North Galaxy, managed by the North Kai. Above the four Kai is the Grand Kai. It is said that this Grand Kai possesses immense power and was once a candidate for Supreme Kai."

"Above these five Kai are two great gods: one is the God of Destruction Beerus, and the other is Supreme Kai Shin. The Supreme Kai is responsible for creating planets and evolving life, while the God of Destruction is responsible for destroying planets. For the time being, my goal is one of these two great gods."

"Alright, I'm done. Ask your questions!"

After speaking, Turles shrugged and looked at the three people who were listening in stunned silence.

Of course, Turles didn't mention the gods above this universe, such as the Angels, the Grand Priest, and Zeno, nor did he mention beings outside of space-time like the Dragon God Zalama or the Supreme Kai of Time.

The three, already shocked by Turles's claims, stood there blankly for a long time, clearly still digesting the information.

After a while, Raditz's dry voice broke the silence, "Turles, you say that this world has an Other World, and that after we die, we are judged based on our merit to decide whether we go to Heaven or Hell. How is this merit determined?"

Hearing Raditz ask, Paragus and Broly snapped out of their daze, pricking up their ears and watching Turles intently.

"Sigh!" Turles sighed first, then said, "Merit is simple, of course. If you save the world, you gain merit; if you destroy the world, you incur sin. Given the Saiyans' past conduct, what other outcome could there be in the Other World?"

Hearing Turles's words, Paragus and Raditz's faces turned pale instantly. Their mouths opened, but they couldn't find the words to speak.

Thinking about it, it made sense. The Saiyans primarily focused on invading planets, and they had long since accumulated countless sins. If Hell truly existed, then basically every Saiyan would have to go there. The only reason he said it like that was because there were at least three exceptions in this universe.

The first was Son Goku on Earth. He was originally sent to invade Earth, and if he hadn't fallen into a ravine as a child and hit his head, losing his memory, the Earth would likely have been empty long ago. But the current Son Goku has already saved the Earth, and might have to save it again, so he is definitely a person of great merit.

The second was Broly. Although Broly's sanity often suffered due to the rapid increase in his battle power, fortunately, Planet Vampa was a barren world with no intelligent life, and the planet hadn't been destroyed by Broly. Therefore, Broly likely had neither sin nor merit at this moment.

The last one was Vegeta's brother, Tarble. Although Tarble was Vegeta's brother, the two were complete opposites. Tarble didn't seem like someone born from the Saiyan race at all. Naturally kind-hearted, he even dared to seek out his brother to protect the planet where he grew up. It was clear that Tarble would not be like the other Saiyans.

As for Turles, although his soul had changed, his predecessor had invaded many planets. He didn't know if that would have an impact, so he wasn't sure if he currently had more merit or more sin.

The reason Turles wanted to tell Paragus and the others all this was related to his future plans. He needed to shift their perspectives. They hadn't known before, but now that they had a sense of awe, he believed Paragus and the others would be able to make the right choices.
