Never Dare Again
Lynch felt extremely wronged, Mr. Azik felt a headache coming on. He had said he would arrange a good girl for Lynch before he left, but the guy was completely oblivious.
However, Mr. Azik quickly calmed himself down.
"Never mind, maybe I was too hasty. Let nature take its course!"
He shook his head, looking at Lynch with a degree of satisfaction.
He's handsome, and his memory has been improving lately. He'll also leave Lynch money and a house; he doesn't believe no good girl will be interested in Lynch.
Perhaps there's no need to rush.
"So what brings you here today?"
Lynch felt that Mr. Azik was really going too far. In the past, Mr. Azik had always been very welcoming when he came, so why was he asking him this today?
As expected, elders who pressure you to get married are difficult to get along with.
He suspected that Mr. Azik was going through menopause, although he didn't know when Angel ' menopause occurred, but he felt it was now.
That's right, he hadn't guessed before that Mr. Azik was pressuring him to get married, but now he roughly understood.
The problem is, with the Apocalypse, instead of focusing on improving our strength, isn't getting married and having children just creating a weakness for ourselves?
He was all alone now, and when Dunn and his group discovered the problem, he could simply run away.
If he were married and had children, he would have to settle his wife and children before he could run away. It's such an obvious point, why can't Mr. Azik understand that?
He shook his head, assuming that Mr. Azik hadn't said anything and had directly mentioned the Ramud Town they had visited yesterday.
He didn't know if Mr. Azik knew about the place. In the original story, Mr. Azik only found out after Klein reminded him, but this time Mr. Azik directly sent Elizabeth to him, so he might already know.
Even if Mr. Azik finds out, he still has to come and report to Mr. Azik. After all, he is living such a comfortable life now thanks to this man, and he doesn't want to lose this man's influence.
"After dealing with the vengeful spirit, we asked around the town, and someone produced a portrait of you."
Lynch didn't mention Leonard's reminder; he believed Mr. Azik knew what was important.
Furthermore, Leonard couldn't harm Mr. Azik.
The Church of the Goddess wouldn't be at odds with Mr. Azik, so this is nothing.
He was simply expressing how important it was to him.
This way, the man who failed to get married won't want to help him anymore.
"Don't worry, they won't find out anything. But you, I see Tingen getting more and more dangerous. Are you planning to leave early?"
Lynch really wanted to leave, but he hadn't fully digested the Mimic Potion yet and needed more time. He couldn't just leave Tingen without a reason, could he?
He honestly explained his current situation, and saw Mr. Azik sigh.
"I've been worried about what you'll do after I leave. You don't use your brain, you're not married, will you end up losing your life in a panic?"
Mr. Azik said unhappily.
Lynch pretended not to hear, suspecting that Mr. Azik's main point was that he wasn't going to get married.
"Here's what we'll do: as the date approaches, I'll stir up some trouble outside. You must request an investigation then. Once you get through those few days, everything will be resolved when you return."
Mr. Azik said calmly.
Lynch nodded excitedly.
Then there's no problem.
but...
"Please remember to help our team members. Klein is out of the picture; I've been told he can be resurrected, so it's okay if he dies."
Lynch massaged Mr. Azik's shoulders, speaking in a fawning tone.
Actually, he was wrong before. He's not in a position where he can run away at any time, as he thought.
We have to at least save the captain and the others, otherwise he'll cause trouble.
"I will take action, but you have to promise not to come back halfway."
Mr. Azik stared intently into his eyes.
Lynch thought Mr. Azik was worrying unnecessarily. Even if he was worried about the captain and the others, it wasn't as important as his own life. He just didn't want to have any regrets.
"I promise!"
He raised one hand, making sure to keep the other hand behind his back.
He was certain he wouldn't come back, but sometimes things aren't so foolproof!
After having lunch at Mr. Azik's, Lynch took a nap before finding a carriage and leisurely making his way home.
So cult members are also very busy.
Running around here and there every day, and then having to come back for meetings.
Oh right, he also has to prepare a diary for meetings. Mr. Fool couldn't have taken the initiative to bring him into Sefirah Castle in the first place, then he wouldn't have had to find an excuse to increase his workload.
3 PM.
Lynch watched expressionlessly as he was enveloped in smoke, then walked behind the bronze table.
Then three figures appeared in different locations.
Mr. Sun?
Klein is amazing!
Despite having his energy absorbed like that, Klein was still able to pull out another gentleman. Lynch felt that Klein was incredibly resilient.
But can Sequence 9 Seer really attract so many people?
Lynch felt that Klein was already struggling to pull himself up, and now there was another Mr. Sun.
"This is Mr. Sun."
Klein introduced Little Sun, and then introduced Lynch and the others to Little Sun.
Miss Justice glanced at Mr. Sun, and after confirming some information about him, she turned to look at Lynch.
"Mr. Power, have you received the money I gave you?"
Lynch nodded.
The last time he entered Sefirah Castle, he checked his money not long afterward and withdrew a considerable amount, which gave him a lot of confidence recently.
However, he didn't say that. Instead, he said seriously, "I haven't taken it yet because I'm not sure if there will be any problems. I'm not talking about you; I know you're fine!"
Miss Justice paused for a moment, then sighed and rubbed her forehead in exasperation.
Mr. Power, please don't add a last sentence!
His words were a direct attack on Mr. Fool Mr. Fool, almost as if he were pointing a finger at him and saying, "This evil god is not to be trusted, and you should all be careful."
I wonder if Mr. Fool will be angry?
The Fool:...
The Fool, of course, wasn't angry. He already knew in reality that Lynch didn't trust him, and that this had even prevented him from borrowing much money. So, he just took it all in stride.
If one day Lynch becomes like Miss Justice, full of admiration for him, he'll think Lynch has been replaced!
However, since they were at Sefirah Castle and he was the Fool, he couldn't completely ignore Lynch.
Thinking of this, he chuckled softly and said gently, "I will write to Catlin."
Lynch's face stiffened; he seemed to have been caught red-handed. He lowered his head, his voice tinged with displeasure, but he could only grit his teeth and say, "I'm sorry, Mr. Fool, I won't dare to do it again."
