This is trouble?
Why do you smile so slyly?
Trissy asked skeptically.
Lynch pretended not to hear and urged her to hurry up and have the carriage go to the abandoned factory where he and Hainasen had agreed to meet.
Hopefully, Hainasen has made Megose aware of the problem and scared the woman away.
However, Lynch was overthinking it.
When he arrived, Megose was tied to the bed, and Hainasen and the others were confronting Lanevus.
Lynch was truly impressed.
At this point, Lanevus should just be Swindler. The Cowardly Trio from Sequence 9 to Sequence 7 have almost no combat power. No, wait, the Seer's Clown is at least somewhat useful. The Marauder Pathway makes the first three Sequence quite easy to deal with.
He initially thought that Hainasen and his group would easily defeat Lanevus, but now they're still locked in a standoff. Don't they think they're incredibly clever?
Lynch went up and knocked Lanevus unconscious with a single punch.
Then he looked at Megose.
Okay!
The girl's eyes were wide open, and she was still staring at them!
Fortunately, Trissy acted quickly and knocked Megose.
"What are you doing? This is how you do the things I asked you to do? Aren't you afraid of ruining the Lord's work? No wonder the Lord didn't put you in charge of things here; you really can't do anything right!"
Lynch angrily pointed at Hainasen's nose and cursed.
He was truly exasperated. If he had come in and confronted Lanevus like those guys, Megose might have discovered that he was in cahoots with them. If the police were called, he would have to leave Tingen right now and give up his job that paid six pounds a week!
Oh, and he still has to face Klein's pursuit. Mr. Fool will definitely realize he's been Fooling and then strike back.
It's terrifying to even think about.
"I'm sorry, Oracle, Lanevus said that if we change our helper, he won't help us anymore, and he won't let that Psychiatrist help us either."
If an ordinary woman were to realize that she is carrying the Lord's child, she certainly wouldn't be able to accept it. Only Psychiatrist can subtly help her forget about it, so we're worried that mishandling this could lead to problems.
Hainasen quickly pointed to the man huddled in the corner. Lynch hadn't seen him at all before, and only now did he realize there was another person there.
"Hood Eugen?"
Lynch asked instinctively.
The man nodded quickly.
"I... I'm willing to help you, please don't kill me!"
Lynch turned to look at Hainasen.
"Is this the trouble you're talking about?"
Hainasen and another Aurora Order member opened their mouths, staring at Hood Eugen in disbelief.
That's not what he just said.
This guy just said that he wouldn't cooperate if they didn't listen to Lanevus.
As soon as the Oracle arrived, this guy immediately changed his tune.
"Are you familiar with the Ritual by which Lanevus requests divine intervention?"
Lynch turned to look at Hainasen.
Hainasen nodded quickly.
"Then begin your prayers! This is the mother of the Divine Child I chose. She came voluntarily, has no connections, and is willing to give her life for my Lord!"
Lynch carried Ansali inside.
The poor man was knocked unconscious just as he was about to reach his destination.
After he placed Ansali on the bed, he gave Trissy a warning look.
"You don't actually think you can just leave now that you know all this, do you?"
Lynch had originally planned to tell Trissy about it after Ansali became pregnant.
But because of Hainasen and his crew's incompetence, Trissy found out in advance, and now this guy keeps backing away, looking like he's not coming back for dinner.
"You're a Lunatic! If I had known you were doing this, I definitely wouldn't have tried to assassinate you!"
Trissy was on the verge of tears.
She now deeply regrets her past actions.
Despair, fear.
"Don't overthink it. If we don't do this well, we'll all die. But if we do it well, the Lord will be merciful and let you leave."
Lynch offered Trissy a word of comfort and then gestured for her to escort Megose outside.
"If she wakes up, then knock her out again. I'll see if I can make Hood Eugen forget about this soon. What a hassle!"
Lynch glared at Hainasen again.
Hainasen didn't dare to speak, obediently arranging the corresponding materials before looking at Lynch: "Oracle, shall I begin?"
Lynch nodded, adding casually, "Be careful, don't look at that scene, it'll get out of control."
He's True Creator gone mad, not stupid. Look at what he's doing, something bad is bound to happen.
Hainasen nodded quickly; they were well aware of the situation.
Hood Eugen looked at Lynch with a touched expression. He felt that Lynch was mainly trying to remind him, since everyone here was from the Aurora Order and he was the only one who didn't quite understand.
Lynch didn't notice his gaze. He walked out of the abandoned factory and stood outside the door, cautiously avoiding staying inside.
What if, when the True Creator arrives and sees the Lady Ansali he chose, she becomes enraged and kills him?
He knew perfectly well that Ansali might have been pretty before, but now even with makeup, she wasn't so good.
Moreover, she's getting old, so if True Creator saw her, he would inevitably take his anger out on Lynch.
To reiterate, he's True Creator insane, not stupid.
While Lynch was lost in thought outside, after an unknown amount of time, a scream suddenly came from inside.
He didn't dare go in, and pretended not to hear.
About half an hour later, the door was finally opened.
Hainasen walked out of there, looking both haggard and excited.
"The Oracle, the vessel is pregnant, but the Lord is very angry. He asked how this could have happened. The Lord must blame us for being too late and too slow. I think it's all Hood Eugen's and Lanevus's fault..."
Lanevus is dead, Hood Eugen gone mad. Fortunately, Hood Eugen had previously hinted at the vessel, revealing that she was carrying Lanevus's child, thus preventing future trouble.
Seeing the lingering fear in Hainasen's eyes, Lynch knew he had misunderstood.
The True Creator question is probably about why you chose Ansali.
Fortunately, Hainasen wasn't very bright, which is why he pointed to Hood Eugen and Lanevus.
Fortunately, it wasn't referring to him, otherwise True Creator would definitely hold a grudge against him.
Thinking of Lanevus's death and Hood Eugen's madness, Lynch felt a chill run down his spine.
Is it really necessary for True Creator to get so angry?
He's a Lunatic; it's already a miracle that anyone's willing to be with him, let alone be so picky.
"Alright, here's four hundred and fifty pounds. Give all the money to Ansali. You all secretly protect and monitor Ansali, and don't let her change her mind and call the police."
By the way, you and your companions pray to the Lord to make you forget my appearance and identity. You know, my identity is very important!
Although he suspected that True Creator wasn't too happy at the moment, Lynch still watched as Hainasen and his companion Sirius prayed to True Creator together.
Then, without waiting for them to finish, he quickly left to find Trissy.
He planned to have Trissy openly monitor Ansali, Aurora Order monitor her from behind, so that no matter which side was captured, Ansali would not escape his control.
After exchanging his thoughts with Trissy and recognizing the imposing presence of the True Creator, which prevented Trissy from running away for the time being, Lynch then carried Megose away in the carriage.
This is troublesome. He had previously wanted Hood Eugen to hypnotize Megose and make her forget what happened here, but now that Hood Eugen gone mad, it seems he has no choice but to take Megose to Mr. Azik and see if he can do anything.
