Lynch was unaware that Old Neil had already started hiring maids and a butler because of him; he was staring blankly at the crystal ball in the house.

After returning home, he kept staring at the crystal ball, posing for photos, waiting for Klein to pull him up to the Sefirah Castle.

It was Klein's time to wash up, and he deliberately left the door open. Whenever Klein came out of the bathroom, he could see him examining the crystal ball if he looked over.

Hopefully Klein will act quickly; Lynch is still waiting to learn!

Just as he was getting anxious, a Red Light suddenly flashed on the crystal ball.

He was secretly delighted. Did this mean he had succeeded?

But then nothing more was heard, as if he had just imagined it.

"What's wrong?"

Just then, Klein came out of the bathroom and looked at Lynch with a puzzled expression.

If he hadn't done that, Lynch would have doubted his own vision, but now that this guy had shown himself, Lynch was certain that the Red Light was definitely related to Klein.

"I don't know why, but I feel like there's something wrong with this crystal ball. Do you think we could ask the vendor to return it?"

Klein waved his hand.

"Why return it? Didn't you say it was a gift for me? Just give it to me directly."

He had already marked Lynch on the Sefirah Castle. If he pulled Lynch up there, the crystal ball might shatter, and he didn't want the problem to be discovered.

Speaking of which, we might need to buy a similar crystal ball later to cover up the problem.

"Okay, I'll give you the gift early. You won't be reluctant to part with it, will you?"

Klein reached out his hand, and Lynch hesitated for a moment before handing him the ball.

"Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea. You should also be careful. If you find anything wrong, destroy this thing immediately."

Lynch gave him a worried look and gave him instructions.

Klein nodded outwardly, but inwardly felt helpless.

He knew, of course, that there was something wrong with this thing, after all, it was the channel connecting him, this evil god.

But he can't just destroy himself, can he?

"Don't overthink it. I remember you were on duty at Chanis Gate last night. Why aren't you sleeping now that you're back?"

Klein changed the subject.

He knew Lynch had a bad memory and might forget it in a little while.

Lynch tactfully changed the subject, then stared at Klein and extended his hand.

"I'm waiting for you to pay me, the charm is two pounds."

Two pounds!

Why don't you just rob someone?

And this guy, he stayed up all night and came back not to sleep, just waiting to ask him for money.

"I don't have any money. Wait until I get my salary."

Klein said sadly.

He's been spending too much money lately; if it weren't for the Divination Club providing some extra income, he wouldn't be able to afford a maid by now.

"Okay, then remember to pay me back."

Lynch yawned.

He switched to Reader Pathway as soon as he got home, and now he's very sleepy.

"I'll read a little longer before bed. Oh, by the way, aren't you going to Melissa's friend's birthday party today? Remember to dress formally. Do you want to borrow my Walking Stick? Maybe there'll be a girl who likes you!"

Lynch couldn't help but smile as he thought of the plot in the original novel.

He handed his Walking Stick to Klein.

Klein hadn't bought Walking Stick yet, and going to a party without Walking Stick would definitely make him look bad. When he went to Professor Skuton's party without Walking Stick, people kept asking him why he didn't have Walking Stick.

He could only point to Mr. Azik's Walking Stick lying beside him to indicate that it was his.

People would think more highly of him if they saw the quality of his Walking Stick.

This made Lynch question his existence; was he going to be looked down upon for not carrying Walking Stick?

Are those people making friends or giving away walking Walking Stick?

However, that's just the culture here, and Lynch can't change it; he can only gradually adapt.

He tossed his Walking Stick to Klein.

In the original story, Klein bought Walking Stick. Now, because of his current situation, Klein didn't have the money to buy Walking Stick back then, but now that he has the quota to buy a wand, he hasn't had time to buy one yet.

He would indeed feel a little embarrassed if he were ridiculed at the banquet.

He still remembered why Klein couldn't afford a wand: he had falsely accused Klein of hitting him, and thinking about it now still made him feel a little embarrassed.

"Isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

Klein waved Lynch's Walking Stick with excitement. He found that the Walking Stick was not heavy at all and was very light, especially when hitting someone, it made a whooshing sound.

"Take this and use it for now. Return it to me after your party. There are quite a few ladies there; don't want to negatively impact their impression of you."

Klein:...

Why does this guy talk like a captain?

Oh, right, Leonard said Lynch idolizes Captain America and him, so he always imitates them. Looking at it now, he really does look quite similar!

Childish!

Klein couldn't help but complain.

He would never have done something like that in his entire life.

"Go to sleep! If you keep imitating like this, you'll really become the captain!"

Klein couldn't help but sigh, and then he saw Lynch across from him straighten up and then reveal a pleased smile.

Hiss!

It's a bit scary.

"You don't like the captain, do you?"

Klein asked instinctively, and then he got beaten up by Lynch.

They beat him from the second floor all the way down to the first floor, making Klein feel like a ball.

"No, no, why get so angry? You didn't beat Rozanne like this when she spread rumors."

Klein felt extremely wronged.

"She's a girl, and so are you? Let me see you in women's clothing. If you look good, I'll consider not beating you up next time."

Lynch gave Klein a disdainful look, but quickly smiled again.

"I feel like my Sleepless Potion has undergone a huge change, it seems to be that kind of complete intuition. I'm going to go to the security company tomorrow to ask about it and see what's going on."

It's true. The Mimic Potion was almost fully digested before, and he estimated it would take about another week to completely digest it. But Klein's words brought it a week ahead of schedule.

Is this the power of Fool?

"Digested?"

Klein couldn't help but exclaim.

Lynch feigned sudden realization and said, "Yes, 'digest' seems more accurate. I think I've completely digested this Potion now."

The Nighthawks team didn't know how to play the role of digestion, so he was careful about his wording.

Now that Klein is "reminding" him that it's digestion, he can say "digestion" from now on.

As for the Holy Cathedral and Leonard's doubts, that's left to Klein.

After all, he's been staying up late to study, which fits the role of Sleepless, so the Holy Cathedral shouldn't have much doubt about him.

As for Klein, the one who proposed digestion, that's another story.

Lynch lit a candle for Klein, then quickly ate breakfast and returned to his room to continue studying.

The Reader Pathway is indeed very useful for memory and intelligence. Things that Lynch didn't understand last night, he understood most of today after reading them again.

He jotted down some questions he planned to ask Mr. Azik and Old Neil when he met them, then yawned, took a shower, and went straight to sleep.

Lynch opened his eyes, not knowing how long he had slept.

He saw a Gray Fog, a bronze table on the Gray Fog, and behind the bronze table sat the Fool, whose face he could not see, but Mr. Fool appeared tall and imposing.
