The day after Lynch copied the Apothecary Pathway, he heard that Klein had already killed Sirius in the library.

He shook his head, amused.

That's incredibly fast.

Ince Zangwill's schedule was too packed; Lynch suspected that even a pig would find something wrong with it.

However, since the other party let Ms. Francis go, which was considered relatively friendly to him, Lynch decided to refrain from cursing such a person in his mind.

He followed the captain and the others by carriage to the library, where Klein had already performed the Ritual Magic and obtained the Clown Potion recipe, and was happily waiting for them.

"I don't understand, why did you dare to kill him so easily? I heard from the captain that you only found this person's sketch yesterday evening, and you killed him today. It's truly shocking!"

Leonard asked, his tone filled with deep doubt.

Of course, his eyes held the answer.

In Leonard's eyes, Klein seemed even more suspicious.

"I didn't expect it to turn out this way either. As for why I killed him, it's because the librarian exposed his identity. I killed him so he couldn't escape. These are the letters I found on him."

Klein took out the letter.

Lynch glanced at his expression; there was no problem.

It didn't look like the expression of someone who had discovered their friend was a jerk.

He was the first to take the letter, then placed it in front of Dunn and read it with them.

Dear Mr. Z:

The mission was successfully completed. The Oracle had considered everything, and he made arrangements before leaving, having also completed the necessary deployments.

What worries me, however, is that Hainasen is dead and has returned to the Lord's embrace. Although this is a good thing for Hainasen, the manpower arranged by the Oracle may not be enough. We need more people to do that thing well.

Finally, when the day of destruction comes, we will offer all the lambs to the Lord.

Sirius the Humble Lord.

Lynch breathed a sigh of relief; as expected, his name wasn't mentioned.

His biggest worry was that Hainasen would reveal his secret, since Hainasen knew too much.

Sirius was merely an afterthought; Lynch didn't have much interaction with him. All he needed to do was make Sirius forget his identity.

As expected, his identity was not revealed.

However, this letter clearly proves that these people did something in Tingen, and there is likely something wrong with them.

But that's Dunn's problem, it has nothing to do with Lynch.

Lynch chuckled as he helped everyone carry the body back. Afterward, he lay down in the security company's break room and began thinking about how to earn merit points for himself.

This morning, the Stone of Myriad Phenomena told him that Sequence 8 had been generated.

Sequence 8, Mimicker.

Potion recipe: Take any Sequence 8 recipe via any Pathway.

Ability: Can mimic two Sequence 8 Pathway simultaneously, but each pathway Pathway still requires a one-hour cooldown period.

Side effects: When imitating, one no longer only imitates the actions of the person Mimic, but also their expressions. One needs to be careful to remember one's own true habits.

This was clearly much better than being able to imitate only one Pathway before, Lynch couldn't wait to take the Sequence 8 Potion immediately.

But he soon sighed.

His contributions are not enough.

The Pathway bestowed by the Goddess requires more merit than other Pathway, so even if Dunn has a good relationship with him, the rules still need to be considered.

Of course, he mentioned the Acting Method in advance this time, Dunn counted that as a credit, but it was still a bit lacking.

Lynch suddenly felt a pang of envy for Klein.

Look at Klein, things keep coming his way, not only can he level up, but he can also speed up his role-playing.

It was too difficult for him; he should have known better than to choose the Sleepless.

However, the Goddess only gave him Low Sequence Potion recipes through other Pathway. At the time, he didn't remember the Potion recipes from other Pathway. He thought that if he stayed in the Goddess's Nighthawks team, he might never get the later Potion again.

Unless he gives up his high salary.

Now I know, but there's nothing I can do to change it.

Oh well, I'll just muddle through. The Potion will get more and more expensive, and having the Goddess's help will make things much easier.

I wonder if the Goddess would be willing to give him an early dose of the Potion; he really needs it!

Imagine if he became Sequence 8, he could equip the Sleepless and Reader Pathway to the Nighthawks squad, so he would never have to be clueless about learning again.

He was excited just thinking about such a good thing.

If that doesn't work, he can go to the underground market, take out the Spectator formula, and say he bought it.

Anyway, the Goddess hasn't given the Nighthawks Spectator Potion recipes yet, so maybe that's his achievement?

Miss Justice already knows the Spectator's Potion recipe, so she can't sell them. She might as well give them to the Nighthawks team to boost her own reputation. That shouldn't be a problem, right?

Lynch's eyes lit up, and he immediately stood up.

However, he quickly sat down again because he hadn't finished get off work yet.

But that's about enough. After finishing his meal and resting for a while, he would slip away under the pretext of going out to practice his marksmanship.

However, before he could make a move, he saw Dunn walk out of the office and come straight up to him.

"The exams are over, so don't study so hard. Every time I try to pull you into my Dream Infiltration so my Nightmare Potion can be digested, I can't manage it."

Dunn looked at Lynch disapprovingly.

Lynch sighed.

Yes, the exams are over, but he's still very busy.

Every morning I would study with Old Neil, then in the afternoon I would go to the Duel Club to practice my marksmanship, and then go to Khoy University to have tea with Mr. Azik.

Even if he does nothing, he will still go.

After all, Anseline was pregnant, and the accident was getting closer. He had to constantly remind True Creator and Ince Zangwill that he had a connection with the Angel, and that they should think of Mr. Azik when they were scheming.

After spending an afternoon at Mr. Azik's place, he went to Old Neil's for a free meal, to catch up with him, and to learn some vocabulary along the way.

His spelling isn't very good right now, Old Neil has to dictate words to him.

After finishing all that, I explained the knowledge I learned in the morning to him again. By then, it was already nine o'clock in the evening.

Lynch returned home and had dinner with Klein and the others, switching to Reader Pathway before truly beginning his studies.

After studying today's lessons, he opened various books he had borrowed from the Nighthawks watch team to pass the time.

Modern people are night owls by nature; they can stay up until three or four in the morning.

At this point, he switched to the Sleepless Pathway, lay in bed for three hours, and was refreshed. He then began his morning exercise to avoid falling behind in his physical fitness and getting beaten up later.

In short, if Dunn can find the right opportunity, he can still catch him sleeping.

But it was obvious that Dunn couldn't find an opportunity and assumed he didn't sleep at all.

"I'll go to bed early tonight, and I'll definitely make you Nightmare!"

Lynch assured him.

He muttered to himself, "I've already told him, so he won't be scared in his dream at all. The captain's acting probably won't work. Tomorrow I'll just casually give Dunn a hint."

As for today?

He's going to the underground trading market; he can't wait any longer!
