Background / History

Ling Yuan transmigrated to the Douqi Continent and became the Ling Clan's young clan leader. Learning that the Soul Clan would eventually doom his clan, he chose the system rewards “Remove all restrictions” and “Origin of the Emperor,” then resolved to secure Zhu Kun's protection by bringing Zi Yan to his side 1.

He is the late-born son of Ling Mie and Ling Ruo. His father indulged him heavily and regarded his extraordinary bloodline as the Ling Clan's hope; his mother, a Dou Sheng in seclusion, likewise treasured him and would have personally protected him had she known of his journey 2.
