"What does that have to do with Flender and Yu Xiaogang falling out?"
"Those are two completely different things!"
Ye Lin was even more confused.

The system then explained what had happened between Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and Flender that day.
Ye Lin understood at once. Even the tiniest change could potentially bring about a huge difference.
She had only wanted Yu Xiaogang to take a fall. Who could have guessed Tang San would think someone was ambushing him and give Yu Xiaogang a beating?
I don't get it. I just don't get it.
Still, as long as it improved things for her, that was good.
And this was a huge upgrade: she could now modify two characters, which gave her far more options.
The simplest benefit was that she could now modify names.
For example, if Tang San used Blue Silver Entanglement to bind Mubai,
and she changed "Mubai" to "Tang San,"
the result would be that Tang San used Blue Silver Entanglement to tie himself up.
Ye Lin was very pleased with this reward.
She cultivated until morning, then changed into clothes that let her use the Eight God Wings freely and flew above Shrek Academy.
Before long, Tang San left his dormitory and climbed onto the roof to cultivate his Purple Demon Eye.

"What's happening to me? Why can't I see anything?"

Ye Lin immediately felt her mental strength increase substantially.
The most obvious change was in her eyesight: she could see farther and more clearly.
She also found it much easier to control the Eight God Wings.
She tried it out and managed to multitask a little, making the Eight God Wings attack different targets from two directions.
Tang San tried to stand on the roof and walk forward. His foot caught on a tile, and he stumbled, pitching headfirst down.
"Bang!"
He tumbled off the roof and crashed heavily to the ground, his vision swimming with stars.
But in that blank white world, all he could see were little golden stars spinning around him.
"Is anyone there?"
Tang San staggered to his feet, unable to find his bearings. He stretched both hands out in front of him, groping for his way.
At last, he felt a door.
"Phew!"
Tang San let out a long breath. He'd finally made it to the dormitory.
"Oscar!"
He pushed the door open with some effort and walked inside.
Up in the air,
Ye Lin swallowed. The door Tang San had opened seemed to be the one to Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong's room.
"Ah!"
A scream suddenly rang out through Shrek Academy.
The next second, Tang San was hurled out of the room by Zhu Zhuqing and slammed to the ground.
"Tang San!"
"Are you looking to die?"
Zhu Zhuqing's cool voice came from inside. She wasn't wearing her iconic tight black leather outfit, but loose black pajamas. Even so, her chest still stood out prominently.
Ten cat claws extended from her hands, and a pair of adorable black cat ears sprouted from her head. Two yellow Spirit Rings pulsed beneath her feet.
She was in a state of Martial Soul Possession.
Beside Zhu Zhuqing stood Ning Rongrong, dressed in loose pink pajamas. The Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda rested in her right palm, and two attribute boosts continuously strengthened Zhu Zhuqing.
Tang San was still bewildered and hadn't quite reacted.
He quickly got to his feet. Blue Silver Grass rose from his right palm, and two Spirit Rings pulsed around him.
Tang San pointed ahead. "Zhu Zhuqing, it was you!"
"How dare you ambush me!"
"That just made things awkward, though,"
because Tang San had gotten up with his back to Zhu Zhuqing.
There was no one in front of him.
Tang San's vision was completely white. He couldn't see a thing.
"You barged into my dormitory first thing in the morning, and now you're accusing me of ambushing you!"
Zhu Zhuqing's First Soul Ring flashed. Hell Stab!
With Ning Rongrong's speed boost, she turned into a streak of black light and pounced on Tang San's back.
"Swish!"
"Swish!"
Her cat claws slashed twice.
His blue outfit was torn to shreds.
Eight distinct bloody gashes crossed Tang San's back.
"Ah!"
Tang San cried out and fell face-first to the ground.
"Men really are all worthless!"
"This was your first time, and it'll be your last. Otherwise, I won't let you off so easily!"
Zhu Zhuqing ended her Martial Soul Possession, coldly tossed out those words, and returned to the dormitory with Ning Rongrong.
"Cough, cough!"
Tang San coughed heavily twice and spat out a mouthful of blood. His back burned with pain.
"What's going on?"
"Wasn't that my dormitory?"
He struggled to his feet and headed for his own dormitory again. But this time, too, he pushed open the door to Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong's room with pinpoint accuracy.
"Tang San!"
Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong had changed their clothes, so there was nothing for him to see. But they were still furious.
This time, two clear claw marks appeared on his face. The commotion finally woke everyone else, too.
Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, and the others came out of their dormitories.
Ye Lin also quietly descended from the air and came out of the dormitory with Xiao Wu.
Yu Xiaogang, Flender, and Zhao Wuji came out of their rooms as well.
"You little brats, what are you making all that noise about this early in the morning?"
Zhao Wuji's grumbling voice rang out. "Don't you know I hate being disturbed while I'm resting?"
Ning Rongrong quickly complained to Zhao Wuji.
"Teacher Zhao, Tang San entered the girls' dormitory without permission."
"Twice in a row!"
