Background / History

Tang San was Yu Xiaogang's disciple and greatest source of pride. Yu Xiaogang regarded him as a masterpiece he had personally cultivated, while Tang San repeatedly affirmed his willingness to act on his teacher's commands, including killing Liu Yuan 59 73.

He rose as a leading force for the Heaven Dou Empire during the war against Martial Soul Hall. Equipped with the Seagod Trident and two domains, he slaughtered opposing Title Douluo and forced Martial Soul Hall's forces back into Jialing Pass 59.

Xiao Wu's sacrifice gave Tang San a hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and spirit bone. Liu Yuan later showed Xiao Wu a vision of Tang San celebrating while absorbing those gains, undermining her trust in him 35 36.

Tang San's first direct clash with Liu Yuan ended in a crushing defeat. Liu Yuan's avatar repelled him with one strike, leaving him vomiting blood and forcing the Heaven Dou army to question its champion 76 77.
