Background

The pagoda was originally wielded by Ning Fengping, who used its Power, Speed, and Spirit buffs on himself while making a final stand against Wolf Bandits. Jiang Bai later learned that Ning Fengping—formerly of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect—was his father, making the martial soul an inheritance from that bloodline. 2 3 12

Jiang Bai awakened the pagoda in Niuma Village at age six. Its appearance outside the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect was considered extraordinarily unusual, and its Innate Soul Power level nine immediately drew Martial Soul Hall’s attention. Jiang Bai subsequently entered Spirit Academy under Martial Soul Hall protection. 4 5 7

Although the ordinary Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda was known for fixed support skills and a level-79 limit, Jiang Bai’s version mutated after it absorbed its first spirit ring. Each ring instead became a living residence for the absorbed spirit beast’s soul, turning the pagoda into a system for summoning, possession, and spirit-beast cultivation. 12 17

Its evolution into the Nine Treasures Glazed Pagoda broke its former quality limit. The evolved pagoda also absorbed the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, its surrounding terrain, and most of its immortal herbs into a self-sustaining internal world. 56 57

Appearance

The Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda manifests as a crystalline, translucent glazed pagoda that emits multicolored light. Its evolved Nine Treasures form is more ornate and sacred in appearance, radiating nine-colored brilliance. 4 17 56

Every absorbed spirit ring creates an independent micro-space within a corresponding pagoda floor. The spirit beast’s soul essence is preserved there with its intelligence, memories, and original abilities intact. 17
