Appearance

History
Magnus once killed Crixus at Biyun Lake. A lotus-shaped soul attack he left there persisted long afterward; although its power waned over time, direct contact still incapacitated the Five-Star Apostle Eric 93 94.
As an emissary of Orloff, Magnus completed a mission with Sharp Riley before declining Riley’s invitation to visit Myriad Races Prefecture 121. On the Planar Battlefield, he joined Chegewen and Uman against Resjing’s group and brought Benfield along. Magnus restrained Liewen and Resjing, then pursued Linley and struck his soul with a lotus attack. Linley survived and underwent a soul mutation 154 155 156 157 158.
During the decisive battle at the Star River, Magnus rushed to aid his friend Ramson but arrived too late. He fought Liewen and then Linley; Linley banished him into spatial turbulence 161. Sovereign Saint Stan later rescued him in exchange for his help returning the Saint Stan Clan to the Kanglan Material Plane. There, Magnus fought Liewen again and withdrew after Liewen attained Grand Perfection in the Rules of Fate, giving him two Grand Perfection god clones 173 174 176 177.
Magnus later became a Fate Low Sovereign. After reaching the Soul Golden Core level, he chose to ascend to the Divine Realm, leaving behind his longtime friend Hankin, who remained to protect the Augusta Clan 197 210.
Personality
Magnus is confident in his understanding of fate and initially dismisses Liewen’s attempt to challenge him with the Rules of Fate 175. His confidence does not prevent a calculated retreat: after recognizing that Liewen’s two Grand Perfection clones could overwhelm him, he withdraws rather than risk another banishment 177. He also values particular friendships, attempting to save Ramson and considering intervention on Hankin’s behalf 161 197.
Abilities & Skills
Rules of Fate
- His fate-based attacks can bind opponents and exert powerful material force despite the Rules of Fate being better known for soul attacks 155 156.
- His ultimate soul attack targets a person’s predestined Calamity Point. Its effectiveness is reduced against Linley, whose fate is indeterminate, though it still leaves Linley near death 157 158 176.
Lotus Soul Attack
- Manifests as a transparent orb containing a blooming lotus; the attack breaks through Linley’s soul defenses and strikes his soul and divine clones 157.
- A remnant at Biyun Lake remains dangerous long after Magnus’s battle there 93 94.
- Liewen’s soul-defending Sovereign Artifact blocks the attack during their Kanglan duel 175.
Grand Perfection Combat
- Uses claws for close-range attacks powerful enough to tear open spatial rifts 161 176.
- As a Grand Perfection expert, perfectly controls Sovereign Power without letting its energy leak outward 156.
- Loses his Planar Battlefield duel when Linley’s dragon-transformed material attacks and innate divine ability enable Linley to banish him 161 175.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Long silver whip — catches Resjing’s spear and binds him; Magnus later uses it to strike Bebe 156 157.
- Black gloves — worn during his claw-based duel with Liewen 176.
- Metal Lifeform — used when departing from Sharp Riley 121.

- Ramson — friend Magnus tries to save during the Star River battle 161.
- Orloff — Chief Sovereign of Fate whom Magnus served as an emissary 121.
