Background

Madara was revived by Uchiha Tamaharu through Impure World Reincarnation. Awakening beside Senju Hashirama, he initially assumed that his Eye of the Moon Plan had succeeded; instead, he learned that Obito had been captured and that his long-term scheme had failed. Madara rejected the revelation at first, suspecting a genjutsu or deception, but gradually accepted the changed state of the Shinobi World after Hashirama explained the events that followed his death. 215

Though initially hostile toward Tamaharu's authority over the Uchiha Clan, Madara agreed to cooperate after seeing that the clan had survived and prospered. He remained determined to surpass Tamaharu and restore the Uchiha Clan's glory. 215

After regaining his Rinnegan, Madara quickly adapted to manipulating Reishi in his revived state. He immediately sought a rematch with Hashirama, though Tamaharu and Hashirama insisted that he first stabilize his spiritual power. 216
