God stands at the zero level of God's Domain's hierarchy, beyond all ranked Only Gods. The Great Evil Beast is his opposing counterpart: God's other side is the Great Evil Beast, and the Great Evil Beast's other side is God. 425 465

God's Domain was sustained by his presence. The God Wave that permeated the realm—long regarded by many gods as both oxygen and a controlling poison—was ultimately revealed to be merely God's breath while he slept. His breathing created and destroyed countless universes, worlds, civilizations, and lives. 464

When Only Gods on the Source Wall called his name, the invocation passed through Limbo and shook all of God's Domain, provoking alarm among beings in Heaven, Hell, New Genesis, Dreamland, and Apokolips. 440

During the final confrontation with the Great Evil Beast, God opposed its attempt to end itself, using an overwhelming rejection force to halt it briefly. Ba Di adapted to and blocked this power through the Great Evil Beast's own information, leaving God unable to prevent the outcome. 467

God subsequently began to dissipate into new universes. Ba Di preserved his final true spirit and sent it into the newborn Multiverse, allowing him to be reborn. 468
