• Jor-El recalled his history with Ba Di and prepared for their confrontation, using Krypto, a Golden Kryptonite dog tag, and the Key of Hope as part of his plans.
• Ba Di watched Zatara perform at Madison Square Garden, sensed his magic affecting the audience, and learned that Zatara was facing warnings of danger from his father and the British Magic Association.
• Ba Di found Raven in an alley after her magic surged, and she explained that Trigon’s projection could reach Earth within a week and that Ba Di might withstand him in the Mind World.
• Ba Di agreed to help Raven, and she stopped him from pulling her out of a magical portal that transported them from Manhattan to an island covered in magic arrays.
• Ba Di charged Zatara’s mist giant after taking Sun Energy Capsules, then endured its wind blades and healed as he rushed toward Zatara’s position.
• Zatara retreated into the forest and raised a Magic Force Field Shield as Ba Di arrived with crimson eyes visible in the darkness.

Ba Di prepared with Raven and Zatara to confront Trigon, then fought him across Azarath Sanctuary and Yagalas. After defeating Trigon in the Mind World, Ba Di’s body began to dissolve, and Raven entered his mind to find him trapped in a repeating cycle.

• Ba Di defeated Zatara’s spells and escaped his Sealed Space, while Zatara warned that Trigon would arrive in a week.
• Ba Di studied magic with Zatara and Raven, then prepared with Raven to face Trigon as his aura darkened New York.
• Raven transformed Ba Di with her blood magic so he could impersonate her, but Trigon saw through the deception when they reached the ruined Azarath Sanctuary.
• Ba Di unleashed the power of 380 Sun Energy Capsules and held back Trigon’s demonic hand as Raven found the courage to attack.

After Ba Di defeated Jor-El in battle, he confronted him near the Kent family and demanded to know why he had hidden the Codex inside Clark.

• Ba Di discovered his Magic True Body and Chocolate Ray, then learned that defects in his Kryptonian genes could cause his body to collapse within months.
• Ba Di prepared a clone and other measures to fight Jor-El, while his investigation revealed that someone was manipulating information about people connected to the Justice League.
• Jor-El detected Red Sun radiation over Kansas and transformed to confront Ba Di, who arrived to fight for his life and protect Clark.
• Ba Di and Jor-El clashed across the cornfield, and Ba Di used a Green Kryptonite dagger before injecting Solar Energy and transforming under Jor-El’s attacks.
• Ba Di overpowered Jor-El, but Golden Kryptonite and Jor-El’s claws triggered a genetic reaction that killed him before a cloaked figure appeared.

• Ba Di killed infant Clark to extract the Codex of Life and ordered Hera to destroy the remains and locate the dimensional wormhole device.
• A mysterious woman stole Clark’s corpse, but its energy killed her and destroyed Clark’s consciousness and device, while Ba Di learned from Zatara that she was Madame Xanadu.
• Ba Di strengthened himself, established Ω as his empire’s symbol, took control of the League of Assassins, and expanded his influence across the world.
• Ohm and Antiope announced that Ya Te Lan Di Si would coexist with humanity and that Paradise Island would join the United Nations, prompting Ba Di to order Ohm’s assassination.
• A Green Lantern Ring sought a new bearer as Bruce carried the injured Barry into Te Si Ke Wei Li Er and tried to use lightning to make him the Flash.
• Bruce fought Constantine, and Barry summoned the Speed Force through a lightning strike before attacking Constantine to protect Bruce.
• Barry defeated Constantine and found Bruce severely injured, while Ya Ge Bu warned that Bruce might never regain movement in his lower body.
• Bruce woke, accepted Constantine’s offer to join the resistance, and sarcastically described his injuries as proof that he was fine.
