Both were Sovereigns at the Five-Fusion Limit, but Desterie's defense held out for only a couple of breaths before the Sovereign Power of Destruction broke through. The attack then struck his defensive Sovereign Artifact and dispersed once more, leaving only a trace of its power to slow Desterie for a moment.
But that brief delay was enough for the Four Divine Beasts to catch up. The four transformed into their true forms again, and a hazy, circular glow formed around them and locked onto Desterie. They unleashed their Combined Innate Divine Ability!
For the Four Divine Beasts, it would be best if a miracle happened and they killed Desterie. But even if they couldn't kill him, surely he wouldn't just leave himself defenseless! If he defended himself, his escape would inevitably be delayed.
