Background / History
Kang Qiao begins as a confused consciousness in darkness before awakening in a devastated ocean world inside a lizard-like body. Primitive urges initially govern him: he flees danger, seeks volcanic warmth, and hunts strange crustaceans. His memories of being human gradually return, allowing rational thought to reassert itself. 1
He adapts to volcanic environments by sleeping in magma, shedding his skin, hunting sea life, and learning to cook. Food becomes one of his strongest personal pleasures, even as his body grows beyond ordinary scale. 2
After reaching giant-beast stature, Kang Qiao begins considering the Dinosaur People rather than living in complete isolation. He wants to help them advance beyond primitive tribal life, then builds a city to connect four tribes and brings the Water Lizard, Giant Serpent, and Giant Moth together through a shared feast. 14 23
His growth creates the Divine Kingdom and a growing divine system. Souls connected to his power can become new faith-born beings or Angels, beginning with the Eyeball Creature and later including figures such as Irene. 32 99
Kang Qiao expands from a regional giant beast into the leader of the Six Order Races and the Order Pantheon. He fights the World Tree's forces, confronts Olympian gods and Elder Gods, establishes alliances, and develops the Divine Kingdom into a growing universe. 104 136 316
During a dream-induced descent into a cultivation world, Kang Qiao unknowingly becomes the center of Changting Village. His sleeping spirituality imposes identities, suppresses cultivators and demons, and eventually causes the world's destruction when his dream ends. He later reincarnates some surviving souls as Angels. 197 202
After mastering greater solar authority, Kang Qiao continues expanding through the Sea of Stars, clashes with Nyarlathotep and Cthugha, and negotiates with the Elder Gods from a position of overwhelming strength. Despite this power, he repeatedly states that he seeks peaceful coexistence, exploration, and a secure life with his companions rather than rule for its own sake. 290 313 380 381
Appearance
Kang Qiao's appearance changes drastically with his state, ranging from a lizard-like sea creature to a Godzilla-shaped elemental deity and a cosmic-scale divine body.
- In his early giant-beast form, he is a massive reptilian creature that grows through heat, lava, and slumber. 1 14
- His normal body develops glowing patterns, including the Star Radiance ring on his chest. 32
- His White Flame state spreads blinding white fire from his heart and chest patterns across his entire body. 74
- His elemental forms consist of flame, molten lava, and condensed thermal energy; their heat can be restrained within the body rather than radiating outward uncontrollably. 76 213
- His spirituality can manifest as a colossal planet-like eye wreathed in imperceptible flames and surrounded by fiery tendrils. 128
- At his later peak, his red Godzilla-like divine body exceeds 12 million meters, with Turscha and the Cloud-like Being coiled around his arms like living tattoos. 378
Personality
Kang Qiao retains a distinctly human outlook despite his transformation. He enjoys cooked food, humor, casual companionship, and the feeling of being part of a family. He regards several younger gods as siblings rather than servants and dislikes excessive formality among his subordinates. 2 169 378
He is pragmatic and strategically minded rather than blindly aggressive. Kang Qiao forms alliances, investigates unknown threats before acting, and prefers to eliminate future dangers early when possible. He remains confident in his strength but does not consider himself incapable of defeat. 114 136 234
His compassion is selective but genuine. He becomes increasingly invested in the Order Populace after living among them, protects followers when possible, and sees immortality as a burden as much as a reward. However, his immense scale has made him detached from the suffering of unknown populations harmed unintentionally by his dreams or power. 115 202 204
Kang Qiao dislikes tyranny for its own sake and wants his pantheon to be a group of companions with freedom and mutual affection. He is nevertheless capable of manipulation, intimidation, and destructive force when he considers them necessary. 223 246 380
Abilities & Skills
Thermal and Lava Manipulation
Kang Qiao absorbs, generates, reshapes, and weaponizes extreme heat and molten material.
- Enters the Crimson Lotus State, which converts sustained energy into nourishment for physical growth. 14
- Controls lava through willpower, initially as an extension of his own body. 14
- Creates large-scale lava domains, including a Lava Purgatory hundreds of kilometers wide. 139
- Draws lava from beneath planets and can manipulate nuclear energy within his sensory range. 164
- Converts celestial bodies into extensions of his body, including a magma-covered moon used as a weapon platform. 184
White Flames and Atomic Breath
Kang Qiao's white flames are a refined, extremely destructive expression of his thermal authority.
- His White Flame Halo spreads from his chest patterns and can engulf opponents at close range. 74
- Atomic Breath requires a short preparation period and is accompanied by white flames covering his body. 76
- Fires white beams capable of fragmenting space and contesting black-hole-like gravitational phenomena. 186
- Can contain his heat inside his elemental body to avoid unintentionally incinerating nearby allies or worlds. 213
Sun Authority
Kang Qiao can draw power from suns and use them as anchors for perception, movement, and large-scale amplification.
- Perceives suns through spirituality and teleports across interstellar distances by touching their corresponding points of light. 202
- Layers the power of multiple suns onto a controlled Sun, reaching at least twenty-six simultaneous solar connections. 290
- Marks suns during travel and later mobilizes more than 300 solar connections. 313
- Gains enormous power while inside a sun, where his flame authority is amplified. 186 289
- His solar authority can erode opposing divine power, as seen against Nodens's Abyss-based black flames. 218
Force Field, Gravity, and Spatial Movement
Kang Qiao possesses a self-contained field tied to gravity, repulsion, spatial traversal, and environmental alteration.
- Uses a constricted force field to keep his enormous body from sinking into planetary terrain. 135
- Generates gravitational suppression fields that can knock down even allied giant gods while restraining a target. 138
- Opens spatial passages for his consciousness, avatars, allies, and long-distance travel. 103 218
- His force field contributes to the floating structures of Inverted City and the formation of Floating Stone. 115
- His later manifestations can collapse surrounding space and produce destructive energy storms. 218
Divine Kingdom
Kang Qiao's Divine Kingdom evolves from a refuge for followers into a nascent universe.
- Reincarnates selected souls as Angels, although not every soul survives the process. 99 202
- Grants authorized gods marks allowing entry to and exit from the Divine Kingdom in emergencies. 181
- Can manifest and expand the Divine Kingdom around planets with the aid of the Order Gods. 234 236
- Draws on the Divine Kingdom's accumulated power to affect entities beyond ordinary divine reach, including Primal Ruksu's tendril. 313
- Plans for reincarnated Angels to become Star Spirits and caretakers of its newborn universe. 316
Dream and Spirituality Effects
Kang Qiao's dreams and detached spirituality can reshape reality on a catastrophic scale.
- His spirituality forms a colossal eye-like manifestation during special divine descents. 128
- In Changting Village, his dream unconsciously controls spiritual energy, imposes roles on inhabitants, and punishes resistance with inextinguishable flames. 198
- Awakening from that dream causes its cultivation world to collapse, killing its inhabitants and ending the system sustained by his dream. 200 202
- His dream later alters Earth's reality, erasing Godzilla and related media after he accepts his true nature. 393
